Even though they’ve “improved” the boulder piece so many times, this one is definitely the best.

Modern problems require modern solutions.

Not sure about you but I would expect rocks to be usually found 'outside'. Yet this is classified in the category: interior.

Apparently, the 'interior' category represents pieces which can 'contain' other parts - thus clarifying the situation in this case. That's still do not explain the taps and bracelet upper parts (recent flowers 1x1) which are also part of that group.

What kind? Hard rock? Punk rock? Glam rock, even?

We may never know.

It definitely isn't family friendly, considering 2/3 of the lyrics are about "lower parts."

All of these rock bottom dad jokes are so transparent.

By in Netherlands,

If TLG is to turn to more sustainable materials, they could carve these out of stone.

Oh no, here come the Life on Mars flashbacks! Shudder.

Now THAT's what I think of as a proper rock!

Rock Raiders, Life on Mars... even Bionicle (briefly); three of my childhood favourite themes used these parts, and I've always loved them. Very nostalgic, thank-you RPotD! :D

Looks like this is a newer mould version, https://brickset.com/parts/6120912/rock-4x4x1-2-3-lower-part was last used 2016, as Nexo Knight stone monster catapults.

70311 : Chaos Catapult and 70314 : Beast Master's Chaos Chariot used the bottom part.

70316 : Jestro's Evil Mobile used 2 top halves, so you could make 2 boulders if you had those sets.

271607 : Firecracker Catapult also was a magazine gift, one of the smallest sets to have this bottom half piece.

Crazy to think I have two 30294s sealed in a single set right now.
