Alas, I fear the community has blown all its... powder on yesterday RPOTD, leaving this one shafted.

I wanted to comment something clever, and all my brain could come up with was "the cockpit is angular, just like the Star Spangled Banner is spangular."

I do not like this thing. It’s not as useful as the original, and it’s kinda ugly.

ok for city helicopters, terrible for spaceships like 75178 as always leaves a gap.

One of our most beloved legopieces. Originally came with "Fire Suitcase" (2015) but since then used by the kids in numerous little spaceships, helicopters and what not...

You mean the https://brickset.com/parts/design-2483 ? That one was more useful with the bottom connections. I used it once to make a wave for a surfer.

@TeriXeri:
It’s also used for the fenders on that same Bat-vehicle.

Didn't even notice that, since it's in reverse + a sticker on it, only briefly looked at pictures, but that's nice parts usage.

If it makes you feel better, my first reaction was, “Those aren’t engines, they’re wheels!”
