Looks like a giant cartoon stick of TNT. Just needs a (lit) fuse and Wiley Coyote about to blown to kingdom come.
I think (and my parents agree with me) that this piece looks like an old fuse.

I still remember the day 'then' "Much Music" (Canada's "MTV") made that announcement, and read a transcription of Axle's 'statement'...never heard that level of bile or venom leveled at the fans, the media...well not 'til 'modern times' anyways. At the time, it felt like he was at 'us' for making him 'famous' and he kinda' cracked or snapped.
Even remember just before 'the 'Vid', going to my local library; and see a copy of "Rolling Stone" with him on the cover, headlines: "What the music Industry needs now is Axel Rose"...and I walked away thinking" "No, NO IT DOES NOT..."...kinda' looks like they agreed, as I haven't heard of any new song/recordings; just him on tour with AC/DC as their new 'Frontman'...yesh:|
With nearly four million of them owned that’s some very cross axles

They released Chinese Democracy in 2008, but by then half the band had quit, and people who had been born when UYI2 was released were old enough to vote. It currently still holds the record for most expensive rock album at $14 million to produce, and had weak sales because fans had stopped caring about GNR by then. And a lot probably sided with Slash and the other members who had quit.
Red…eh, there’s no standing by, here. This thing has been lying down all day.
