I just got my first of these in the Forestmen GWP (though it wasn't exactly "G" since I had to purchase it solo on the secondary market)--I hadn't realised they existed. I foresee a lot of use for them.

if you got a bunch of these in tan you could build a nanoscale skatepark

So how do people feel about that dent in the curve? I can see a couple specific building applications, but it makes the closed circle a little less satisfying.

I'm not sure you'd actually get a true circle, one way or the other.

Oh dang, I think you're right! I don't have any of these yet and assumed they'd complement the 1x4 arch perfectly, but it seems like there'd be a 1/3 brick of height missing. Yet a 4x4 circle can be made with the same brick types, scaled up. How odd!

Well there’s no need to do such a half-arched job of things

I never understood why they introduced the dent in the regular arch. It creates unsightly protrusions, like in the Creator Expert Ferrari F40: https://brickset.com/sets/10248-1/Ferrari-F40

That makes sense. Hadn't thought of that. Still glad that there is still some choice in using of both the arches for most colours.
