This part’s name is specific to another part name: I wonder how many of those there are. In any case, I think whoever named it must have either been lazy or shortsighted.
Edit: if 30044 had a name like frame for 94161 that would have been cool.

In 3860, one of the first sets including this part, used it as a door.
All creator sets also used it as a door in their micro builds.

Came away disappointed.
Ah, the Heroica door. That was then used as a shutter everywhere else...
It also fits in the Knights Kingdom II wall elements, which are designed to fit the bar window part. Not that it would look great or anything. But it fits!

I actually have Heroica. Bought it on deep clearance at Walmart many years ago for the parts and microfigs.
