It looks like the only two of these I own came from the Brother Eye set. I haven’t opened one copy, and only raised the other for minifigs and a few parts, so I didn’t even recognize it.
Do you think the people at Lego have a good snigger at names like this too or is it just us being childish?

One of my favourite cockpits Lego has ever made. Just a beautiful curve to it.
Sandpits are better....
I really like this canopy. It’s nice and roomy and the angles actually fit LEGO parts. The only real drawback is you need additional parts near the bar to close it up nice.
I wish it came in a broader range of colors, too.
@PurpleDave: Wait...if you haven't opened it...do have an OMAC? I think that was a HUGE mistake by LEGO not putting that character in more sets 'in that time period', as it was a very big part of DC at the time...
As to 'the part': looks great, but I have 'the usual complaints'; wish it was in clear and wish it was in T. Yellow...maybe T. Green and T. Red, but at least T. Yellow 'color-wise'...

I have two. For DC, and especially Batman, I buy one copy for the set, and if there are minifigs involved, I buy a second copy to raid for minifigs that I can use in club displays and MOCs. I’ve never used OMAC in a club display, and I’m honestly not even sure where he is right now.
