4, I get, but how do you make 0.85 of a hole?

lol! The Technic pin holes are 4.85mm in diameter, I believe.
This part is great! Reminds me of element design 91176
It must be a stand for the invisible jet, because I don't see it! ;-)
I don't think that's what they mean by "half-mast."
These are great. I recently built some of the Super Mario sets with these and I can see these being great for aircraft/spacecraft stands in the future. Transparent, with a wide base, and with Technic connections that can be used to secure something firmly at the top. Plus the rounded shape makes it even more subtle than a rectangular stand with visible edges would be.
It’s a bit of a stretch to call this a brick but I suppose having a 13-long modified plate doesn’t work either.
This looks like it would be great for a spaceship stand.
Perfect mast piece for an "invisible" ghost ship :D
At first I thought this was that older support piece that was used for Big Bentley and City garage.
Bit of hull two days back, workable mast today, RPOTD is slowly building a boat piece by piece...
Lego needs to add this to every flying creator set.
i like one-off parts like this.
Part 1749? Someone at Lego has been trying to fill the XXXX number range I see...
Just ordered a couple from bricklink.
I want to get enough of these to suspend the Guardians ship and Eternals ship.
@Lyichir @peterlmorris This already is a spaceship stand, sort of, in 75573, one of the new Avatar sets. It's only "sort of" because it holds up a bit of floating scenery as well as the tiltrotor, and also because although it looks nicely spacey, the RDA Samson is just an aircraft. Still, you get the idea.

From what I can see of the base (admittedly, not easy! Doesn't Huw like to pull RPODs that have no image?), this is really more of a modified tile than a modified plate.
