The print on that kid's face.. I forgot that was a thing that existed.

I was just going to ask, how many more of these we had left, to cycle through?

By in United States,

Neat little jet promo. I wish they would have sold these in retail stores as well.

By in Brazil,

How many times do we have to see you in the RSOTD, old man?

By in Canada,

That blue suitcase reminds me of the luggage my parents had. Must be from the 70s.

@MeisterDad:
Is she running up to throw that into the engine and save Timmy in the world’s worst Trolley Problem solution, or to club him over the head so the plane has an easier time zeroing in on him?

Yes. Throwing it at the engine to bounce off of it, to then hit little Timmy smack on the head, and then the pilot, with the engine damaged, zeroes in on little Timmy thinking he can have a safe landing if he lands on the soft, squishy body of the unconscious Timmy.

By in United States,

I always hoped as a kid to be able to get this set on a plane.

Knowing just how many versions there are now, I feel cheated.

By in United States,

I love that this is pretty much the same style build as 6368 from 1985, but this version came out 18 years later in 2003. The 4-wide style was last seen in 2011 with 7696 even though wider jets like 3181 had been seen in previous years.

It has returned!

Somehow, 4032 Holiday Jet returned.

By in Japan,

Finally it's the version I own!

By in Netherlands,

Timecruiser Timmy is back from yet another alternate dimension, or maybe just a world-round trip with all the different airlines.

By in Turkey,

This design was very common and it was nice. But I liked the modernized version (1818 for example) better but it was not utilized so much.

By in United States,

NO, TIMMY, NO! THIS ISN'T GOING TO END ANY BETTER THAN LAST TIME!

RUN AWAY! RUN AWAY! NO! NO! NOT "RUNWAY"! RUN *AWAY*! RUN—AAAAAUUUUGH!

By in Canada,

@Zordboy : Ummm...that's not a 'cycle', that's a 'jet'... know it can be confusing...:D

@AllenSmith : So...we're gonna need other Timmy...(ABC's 'Dinosaurs' reference:))

I also just realized:
Timmy: "Gee, all those people are waving at me...I better wave back..."
(also kinda reminds me of the "You're going the wrong way!!!" scene from "Plane, Trains and Automobiles")

By in United Kingdom,

Been a while since we've seen one of these, how nice to see and old familiar back again

Gravatar
By in Italy,

Ah yes, the famous swinging engines we all enjoy on our actual airplanes...

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

Dejà vu! Have I been on this set before?
High above the street. Timmy, it is time to go!
Calling you, in bid to have it hit Timmy
Knock him off his feet
It is so hard to try to defeat him
Yeaaaaaaah

*eurobeat intensifies

I thought this is the 3rd-4th times we see it here, but the number is higher I guess.

By in Denmark,

Found the pilot and 1/4 SAS plane in a lot recently.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I would love a modern parts redesign of this, as a Cessna citation style private jet. The one that came with the limo was just too big

Oh well, you tried. Time to send in the janitor as we have another Timmy clone to clean up... again. Maybe next time he'll avoid the plane. (I doubt it!) Timmy intelligence test 4032 - FAILED

There's 13 versions of this set, all just pertaining to what sticker sheet they got cellophaned to the outside of the box. It's like a Video Game Boss whose life keeps replenishing. We're almost there.

By in Jersey,

These sets might seem massively common due to all the variants, but as far as I can tell they're actually pretty rare and relatively few Brickset members claim to own one or more of them. For what it's worth I think it's quite a nice design and differs just enough from the 1980s/1990s planes (as found in 6392 for example) to be interesting, especially with the old grey parts which themselves are probably quite unusual.

By in Canada,

@Murdoch17: I've actually had people tell me, "Intelligence tests aren't pass/fail...". And I've come to find: Usually those are the people who would 'fail'...:)

The wings here actually are not one big piece but a combination of smaller angled plates that sit at an angle flush to the fuselage. Though more prevalent today, some older sets like this did have interesting geometry.

Not only were we stuck with this for an extra day, that extra day got an extra hour added to it.

Curse you Daylight Savings and Curse you Holiday Jet!
