Friends Advent Calendar - Day 1

It's December 1, and that means just one thing - it's the most wonderful time of the year! That also means it's advent calendar season! I have the privilege again of sharing the Friends advent calendar with you. Last year was arguably the best Friends advent calendar so far in the theme, so this year's has a lot of live up to. It's also a little bittersweet, as this is the last sendoff to the original characters.
Without further ado, let's take a look at door number one.
The calendar is packaged in the standard way, with a flap that drops down to allow for placing of the builds. This year it looks like all the action takes place outside in a Christmas market.
Looking behind door number one, we have our first minidoll.
It seems like the Friends appearing in special Christmas wear is a thing of the past, as Olivia is not wearing anything new (or festive, for that matter). Her torso was previous seen only in 41682 Heartlake City School, and her astronomy-themed tights (my favourite) have been shown several times before.
I'm glad we started with a minidoll, but a little disappointed that there isn't a new torso for the holiday season.

At first, I thought the Christmas market on the packaging appeared to be in Amsterdam, but then I saw a mountain in the background... Also, nice tights, Olivia.
Good figure. It's like Olivia is at the pinacle of her development as a STEM enthusiast. Ready to go to space!
I didn't buy any of the advent calendars, this year ... so obviously I'm expecting them to be amazing, and by the 24th I'll be really sad that I missed out.
You’d think that as this is the final outing of the OG friends they’d at least be given a new outfit.
Happy Advent Megan. Love the tights and agree with a previous poster, it would have been nice to have new costumes for their last outing before the new friends are launched
So, in Heartlake City, did they do away with diplomas in favor of a lapel pin to show everyone you meet that you graduated?
I have already opened all of my Friends Calendar (naughty me) because I want to use the parts in building a Christmas MOC.
I realised I have 97 Friends sets so I plan to get 3 more before the reboot.
I am both excited and sad for the reboot.
Ah, my favorite Friend. At least she goes out with style.
Considering that this is their last outing, this is pretty grim. It's your very last Christmas, Olivia. You are the old, the soon-forgotten. You are the walking dead.
But dang, that is a killer outfit, well done.
