Friends Advent Calendar - Day 3

Yesterday's build of a rocket, while not very festive, did celebrate Olivia's interest in STEM. In the last few advent calendars, there has been one build that symbolised each of the Friends. I wonder if that will be the case this year? It will be interesting to see how that's handled next year, with eight characters. One build per character would take up a third of the calendar.
Getting back to the business of the advent calendar, let's take a look behind door number 3.
We have a very Friends-coloured popcorn stand! It fits well with the market theme. I don't know that I've seen a popcorn stand at a Christmas market before, though I have led a sheltered life. I like the use of the pink because it's different, but I'm guessing pink was used as it's more of a Friends colour.
It's ironic that the classic red and white colouring for the popcorn stand would look a tiny bit more festive.

This is so cute.
I'm pretty sure I've seen popcorn for sale at the Christmas market near me. But it wasn't a little portable stand, it was a wooden chalet-style hut like the other market stalls.
Seeing the 2023 Friends sets with a lot less pink, I wonder what the colour palette of next year's calendar will be like. Lots of teal?
Presumably, it's for making popcorn garland.
Popcorn at an outdoor Christmas market wouldn’t make sense. It’d quickly dump whatever heat it retained, and pieces would blow away in any wind. Roasted nuts at least retain their heat a little while, and stay put.
I our country 2 or 3 years ago one of the 19th century building burned to the ground during christmas market period because propane tank on one of this popcorn carts blow up ....
