City Advent Calendar - Day 10

Posted by ,

Yesterday's birdhouse was a nice addition to the outdoor portion of the city calendar. Still, our calendar seems a little sparse in population. It may be time for another minifigure.

Today we have Raze. She was formerly seen in 60296 Wheelie Stunt Bike, as part of the Stuntz range. I really like the bright colouring of her outfit, her bright blue hair and all the printed detailing - especially the skull belt buckle!

The detailing continues on the back, and Raze has the first dual sided head of the calendar. Her alternate expression is one of great annoyance! Maybe it's because she's holding a broom, as I've no idea why she would have that accessory.

Is the lime scarf new or did I miss its previous appearance(s)? I love that piece and really want them to produce it in more colors than just the red and orange we see often so I love its inclusion here.

Obviously, the Doylist explanation is that they just re-used the head from 60296, but if @freedomlife54 is correct, the Watsonian explanation is that she hates being stuck with that chore.

It did appear before in 10270

I think the tongue sticking out is fitting for the time of year. Allows you to recreate the tongue stuck to the frozen metal pole scene from A Christmas Story.

I guess I have to pick up a copy of that motorcycle for the Bionicle minifig…

@mr_Fikou:
Lime has been used in 10270 and 60303. Even rarer is dark-red, which has only appeared on 71028-8. BTW, lime is on PAB online.

Merry lesbian biker Xmas. In my humble opinion, the BEST kind of Xmas. Party on, dudes!

EDIT: she would be even more awesome with dual-molded combat boots!

Pretty random character to include and I don't mind! And it wasn't until PurpleDave pointed it out, but the three virtues symbol on her outfit is a cool easter egg!

Hello! Today's minifig looks really nice. I like the torso piece as well as the leg printing. I'm really happy that it came with an extra green scarf piece, I'm excited to put that onto a custom minifig. Lots of good extra pieces so far.

See, I thought she was scowling because she's stuck cleaning the stable while Billy and Tippy are out eating cookies and having fun.

She's a rebel and she's sticking her tongue to lick the forbidden yellow snow.

@Binnekamp:
Still bringing Bionicle news to the world, two decades later…

Also, I just picked up a slightly smooshed copy of her motorcycle set.

4 Lego loving boys meaning we have a calendar per kid. We have this year’s marvel, Star Wars, and city calendars. Then my youngest and I created a Ninjago themed calendar for him. Of the bought calendars- the city has been my favorite so far. It is just fabulous.
