City Advent Calendar - Day 19
Posted by MeganL,Our Christmas tree now has a couple of toys for the children in the calendar, Billy and Maddy. As we head into the homestretch of the calendar, I expect more holiday themed builds.
Another minifig is always welcome! This is Mr. Producé, the fruits and vegetables merchant in the city. His brightly coloured apron has a very suitable leaf logo; and I really like how the printing extends down to his legs. The detailing on his plaid shirt is great.
The excellent detail continues on the back. As he is a produce salesman, it makes total sense that his accessory is an apple. This is only the second set that includes Mr. Producé; the other is the very logical 60347 Grocery Store.
While I love seeing another minifig, I still don't see much in the way of holiday colours! Of course, the apple is green....

Random timing to put it all the way on day 19. A surprise, but a somewhat welcome one?
Nice figure. Leg prints are fun.
The apron is red…which is also a holiday colour.
Very nice minifig, indeed.
Lovely minifig. Almost all parts are unique to this set and supermarket
There should have been two apples - red & green - Festive colors go go go!

It's dark orange, unfortunately. But maybe we can let it slide and call it red on this occasion ;)

No, you are correct to be pedantic. :)
I don’t think I’ve ever seen an apron that had a crotch strap before, but he does seem to have a symbol indicating that he’s a rechargeable electric vehicle, so maybe that has something to do with it.

I don't know what it says about me (or you!) but I also read the back of the figure that way, with the orange hips looking like some sort of strap/underwear. Apron/G string combinations?
I'm guessing that tomorrow we might get someone/something that would enjoy eating that apple.
Seatless lederhosen. Don't ask for the apples from the top shelf behind him. It's what he wants you to do.
@Paternoster_Lift:
I think that guy lived in my dorm in college, except he definitely didn’t have the body to back it up.
Good figure and will fit in in most City settings. Love it!
