First brand store in Switzerland opens this week

LEGO continues to roll-out its brand store experience throughout Europe and this year Ireland, Czechia and now Switzerland have been added to the countries to have them.
The first Swiss store, which is situated at the Glattzentrum on the outskirts of Zurich, opens on Thursday this week.
It's likely that there'll be some GWPs available during the first few days of opening, although we have no confirmation of that yet.
Will you be attending on the opening day?

I really want to experience a LEGO store opening but I can't travel four hours for that. I hope they will open another one in Geneva and I will be a regular!
The same was on the 3rd of November 2022 in Prague - the grand opening of the first Lego Store in the Czech Republic, but we are probably not so significant to mention it here. :/
Finally. I plan to attend on Thursday.

Like with Ireland, I'm surprised it's taken until this year for Czechia and Switzerland to have their first stores! I would have thought both countries have a pretty big fan base, especially since seeing lots of people posting comments on Brickset coming from these two countries.
I've only just had my first store experience at the start of this month when visiting Cardiff, Wales, along with my wife and daughter. It was a big success all round :D So for all those going to the new Zurich store - enjoy!!!!
I hope to make it on Friday, will post some pics in the forum if I do.

I'll be there too on Thursday, even though it's a 3-hour journey from my home at the other corner of Switzerland. I wouldn't miss it, we've been waiting for far too long!
I’m shocked this is the first store in Switzerland!? I would have thought being so close to Germany they would have had one or two at least. Maybe there is hope for Puerto Rico yet. I even know where it should go. Mall of San Juan with all of the high end retail stores. Just looks like it belongs there.

Come to think of it, LEGO should return production to Switzerland. Perhaps that would finally solve their current quality issues.
The over the top prices they charge for many of the current sets make you think they already produce in Switzerland again ;-)

Yes, I was also disappointed that the gifts did not stack, or there weren’t other/new gifts. You can get my 40528 if interested, as I own it already.
Hello, since what time were the customers waiting in line for the store to open? On November 3, 2022, I was in Prague from 6:00 a.m. and I was 15 in line. The last customers entered the store until 9 p.m. In addition to the VIP Lego store 40528, there was another gift - a commemorative plate with the inscription I love Lego store Prague, which can be placed above the door of the store.....Zuzana
I was there 06:50 a.m. and there were already 50 or 100 people. Store opened at 09:00, when the first 100 people were let in. The LEGO Store Zürich tile was available, too.
