Looks like it already was exploded, rather than currently exploding.
Ooh. Add to the ‘parts I didn’t know existed’ list.

And I thought I knew most of the rock type parts.
Be very careful shipping this part, guys, always check with the seller first.
And Charlie Brown was never excited about getting rocks for Halloween. Guess he just didn’t get the right rocks…

I don't know, I think "exploding Rock" is what he'd *wanted* to happen at the box office for Black Adam. (ba dum tish)
From this angle, looks to me more like a frog.
Kind of annoys me when Lego develop a part, uses it in only two sets and tells us they cannot produce another goat mould (or any other past mould really).
Oh NO!!!...THE FRAGGLES!!!...(:D)

And not just any two sets... but two Speedorz, of all things.
Exploding Rock is my favourite genre of music!
EXPLOSION!!!
It's nice but why not just use 2016 part https://brickset.com/sets/containing-part-6159464

This part is two years older than the volcano boulder.
It’s got a hinge in the middle and hooks for a rubber band, so when the complete boulder is hit it springs open.

Care to elaborate, or am I missing an obvious joke?

Don't knock Speedorz!
@Spritetoggle:
When you mail a package, you’ll often get asked if there’s anything from various hazard classes, including explosives.

*facepalm* It WAS the most obvious joke after all. Curse my Aspie brain.
Ahem. Thank you for the clarification.

My bad I looked at the wrong date.
But in that case this part would have been nice as vulcono rock, weird lego guys.
