As it turns midnight in the UK, Merry Christmas from the entire Brickset team! We hope you have a great day and receive some presents with the familiar rattling sound of LEGO when shaken!

We currently own 36,301,781 sets between us, an increase of nearly five million from last Christmas. Do remember to add any new acquisitions to your collection here, so we can see how the total rises before New Year.

Huw, Chris, Megan and Alice -- the Brickset team.

By in Australia,

I got a Vidiyo set. Apparently some discount, factory warehouses are still clearancing them out.

I mean, it's better than a lump of coal?

@Zordboy:
You can burn coal to stay warm, and the fumes are less noxious.

Merry Christmas to you all!
I got 10497, and it is all I could have wished for. Beautiful, beautiful set.

Aww. You're making my punk pirate shark very sad and upset.

Which, as a punk rocker, is exactly what he wanted for Christmas, so thanks!

By in United States,

It's still Christmas Eve where I am, but I have a feeling that I might get at least one Lego set. There's a big box under the tree for me that's the right size for a Star Wars UCS set. Fingers crossed!

By in United Kingdom,

Hope all the Brickset staff have a merry Christmas - you’re so fundamental to the hobby that having access to knowledge and a community like this is a great present all year round!

And to the other members - have a great Christmas and / or New Year, looking forward to another new year of fun Lego antics ahead, Star Wars or otherwise!

Ordered the Lunar New Year Parade, Money Tree, London Postcard & New York Postcard from me, to me for xmas. Managed to resist the Lunar New Year Display until the VIP Add-on pack changes... 12 pink pigs is probably quite enough for the moment!

By in United States,

Merry Christmas! I just added my first 3 Monkie Kid sets after avoiding this theme for 2 years. Secret Hq, Fruit Flower Mountain, and Mei’s White horse dragon jet, which I just built and left a review for. What a fantastic $50 (usd) set.

Merry Christmas. Got 75572 this year, and now I want to complete the whole Avatar collection!

The only rattling present I'll get is the box of Jelly Belly that I get every year, as I buy pretty much all of my own sets. But my nephews will be getting some rattling presents of the plastic variety.

@Zordboy: at least you got a cool minifig and some nice printed tiles out of the deal!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Sadly from stuff not being hidden properly, i know of at least 2 sets, the Lambo Countach and a larger City set (might be 60316 or 60320).

I also see a smaller present that is for me with 2 boxes, so that is likely 60312, 60323, or 60344 for 2 of them.

Me too. I'm the Lego giver, never the receiver. Everyone else understands that I already have far, Far, FAR too much.

As Whitney used to say, "The greatest love of all, is happening to me, learning to love yourself (with humongous Lego), it is the greatest love of all!"

Merry Christmas to the Brickset team and all the members. I check in everyday and always enjoy the content and the forum none of which is possible without the great work by the admin and engagement of the community.
No sets this Christmas (a first) just waiting on pieces for MOCs.
My daughter did get 41711 to add to her growing Friends collection.

@Zordboy:
Actually, I have both punk rocker sharks in wetsuits, about to go surfing off the coast of Hogwarts at our display at The Henry Ford Museum right now.

@Skyguy:
I wonder how many pairs of socks would fit in a box that size. A lifetime’s worth?

In hospital at present feeling very sorry for myself.
Many thanks to the Brickset Team for brightening some of the dark hours!
Just need to escape at some point to a number of sets and therapeutic building...

@lost_scotsman: Better under the sofa than down in the cushions, especially if you've got a sofa bed, with mechanisms that could damage your piece when you pull the bed out to look for it.

Merry Christmas to everyone, best wishes for an amazing new year, and happy building. Thanks Brickset team for all you do and for bringing us all together to share our love for this hobby

En francais (in French)

Joyeux noel a tous et a toutes (Merry Christmas to all - accent omitted)

No specific set for me this time around but I bought myself close to a grand in parts for a few mocs I'm building - I got the parts from Enfield, eventually I will receive those from Billund.

By in France,

Merry Christmas, and happy moments with family or friends or both of them, to all Brickset members and Lego fans here (including your kids to whom I am sure you have transmitted somehow the virus). Thank you this year again to the team who provides us this excellent site, service and place where we can find, share and express our love and passion for the Lego brick. It's good to feel as a member of a community.

May all your presents rattle and shake, and may all your stickers stick right on the very first take!

(This all sounds like the beginning of an old Irish (Danish?) blessing, like the kind Rod Stewart might make into a rock-n-roll song...)

Humbug!

As Brickset's resident Scrooge I have to make some angry and noxious comment...

Just kidding, Merry Christmas everyone!

Gravatar
By in United States,

I was very pleasantly surprised by 10305 under the tree and the announcement of a summer trip to Billund, so it’s been a great Christmas for me LEGO-wise.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

I got 75337 AT-TE along with 40554 Jake Sully & his Avatar Brickheadz, but what surprised me most was 71228 Ghostbusters Level Pack for Lego Dimensions!

Merry Christmas everyone and happy building!

Merry Christmas to all! Sadly I was fooled by three gifts that sounded like LEGO but were not, but hey, a good time with friends and family nonetheless - and that's what matters in the end.
