Boxing day sale now on

Hulkbuster

LEGO's post-Christmas sale has begun and around 100 products have been reduced, many by at least 30%, including 21337 Table Football and dozens of BrickHeadz.

Perhaps not surprisingly, 76210 Hulkbuster and 76215 Black Panther have also been reduced, but only by 20%. I think their price will plummet further before they shift all the stock, though!

You can view everything on sale at LEGO.com and in our Buy listings.

Wow...not.

Not really a sale, just a clearance of shelf warmers.

OK, I quess, if you were after Black Panther or the Hulkbuster.......or a keyring....

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

Hmm maybe Hulkbuster and Black Panther were perhaps somehow a tid bit (meaning: a lot) overpriced. Lego is really trying to push the boundaries.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Glad the Hulkbuster is on sale but it's still pretty expensive. It's not a great look for LEGO to have to discount D2Cs by 20% after less than two months just to move inventory. Hopefully we see fairer prices in the future.

By in United Kingdom,

I think there were many more on sale in the early morning but already sold out. All sets due to retire this year were discounted.

By in Netherlands,

CMF and 40525 were nice, sadly you can only buy 12 CMF
The 2 different mario fig pack and 76396 are also great but not my thing.

Don't forget to ignore the Guardians of the Galaxy and HP advent who are on sale for weeks^^

By in Ireland,

I’m surprised to see the Table Football discounted so soon after release.

By in France,

21335 the lighthouse, could it be reduced soon in your opinion?
Thanks for your answer !

That's pretty much what a sale is for.

Well....sort of.....if it is a clearance sale....it could also be reductions on popular items to encourage people to buy more and spend when they perhaps normally wouldn't!

I would like a UCS ATAT, but I am not going to buy one - no sale - no profit. A discount might change my mind - a sale- and (slightly less) profit!

Stack 'em high, sell 'em cheap or 'loss leaders' also work well for many retailers!

Wow, what a surprisingly large bunch of pants.
Nothing of any real interest there for many I’d imagine

The most annoying thing is that there's actually a lot of nice sets that are reduced, but it's just taunting us as stock was gone long ago for them.

Like the Batwing, reduced from £180 to just £122, the Speed Champions Ford GT and Ford Bronco double pack down from £45 to £31.50 and the Classic TV Series Batmobile, down from £30 (was originally £35) to £22.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Gutted about missing the Batwing. It was on my wanted list for ages.
Seemingly all the stock in Smyths across the UK has also dried up almost overnight!! (was it on offer At Smyths too and I missed it?)

Can't pay aftermarket. so gone forever :(

Gravatar
By in Argentina,

They'd pretty much have to pay me to take those Marvel ones from them.

Gravatar
By in Brazil,

Even if the Hulkbuster had a 75% discount it would still be expensive

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

You can give the UCS Shelfduster all the discount you like, I just don't like that thing.

It's not that I don't like Hulkbusters. I own four of the damned things, including the "Penultimate Collector's Series"-version, which is a thing of beauty. Also - in spite of myself, I plan on buying the 2023 edition because, yes, pretty. My study is currently flooded with dark red and pearl gold, let me assure you.

But this abomination will never find a home in my house.

Lego sales are to get rid of stock, so a clearance sale.

Loss Leaders?!? On big ticket Lego items?!? Loss leaders are used by shops with the intention of getting people to buy more stuff and spend more than the original item. Shops don't discount their most expensive item as a loss leader (or if they do they only have five items in stock).

As for the UCS AT-AT, perhaps you should've bought it in Smyths when it was on offer?

By your logic you seem to think Lego should reduce the UCS models by 50% to entice people to buy some additional £10 sets.

By in United States,

Almost pulled the trigger on the Bad Batch Attack Shuttle for 20% off at LEGO.com, then noticed that it was 30% off on Amazon and bought it there. That one doesn't show up in the Brickset discount tracker, for some reason.

Well as most of the sets I have brought this year have been 25-40% off, including the Technic Ferrari and Airbus Helicoptor at 40% + discount from 'other retailers', I personally think Lego.com could do better!

As for the UCS ATAT, my opinion is it is overpriced. Smyths discount didn't even get close. Paid £400 for the UCS Star Destroyer and £450 for the falcon, so someone is taking a hit or, more likely, Lego is just overpricing everything in their range.

But each to their own, enjoy your keyrings!

By in Italy,

Even on Dots sets 'other retailers' offered way better bargains than Lego's sales.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Well well well, LEGO, it seems we are finally starting to speaking the same language. Perhaps this will be the beginning of the end of your angsty overpriced fandom kitsch phase and we can get back to basics next year.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Wake me up when the Hulkbuster is discounted by 90%.

How much longer till The Mighty Bowser is on sale?

We had this for £130 on Amazon a couple of weeks ago.

By in Poland,

I'm still waiting for a nice discount for 71395

Gravatar
By in United States,

I just picked up a bunch of small and soon-retiring sets on sale. I guess the UK doesn't have as much supply.

Gravatar
By in Canada,

Never mind about the LEGO sale. They rarely have anything good on sale. But last year Amazon's sale offerings were much better. This year is quite disappointing.

Gravatar
By in Canada,

Im still kicking myself for not getting the UCS AT-AT when it was $300 off on black Friday. I was hoping for a similar deal on boxing day, but no dice. In fact the whole boxing day selection was terrible this year, I think we're adopting black Friday here as our big sale day now

Gravatar
By in United States,

Surprsed the Clone Trooper Command was on sale as it's been out of stock or backordered since introduction. Tried to grab a few more. Nope! Sale canceled.... AGAIN! Strick household limit is still in place even though it's on sale. What is going on with Lego marketing. It makes no bloody sense!

Gravatar
By in New Zealand,

The New Zealand "sale" is an insult. Again. The advent calendars (still more expensive than buying elsewhere), a few keyrings, the usual collection of crap nobody would want even when on sale. And that's it. 16 items. Wowsers....
