Hook it up to part 43097 for a pointless connection. I still remember when I built 42128, and couldn't figure out how this piece worked.

Yep! First time I saw it in instructions it just shows the gray bit extended, so I pulled it. Made a nasty cracking sound. Still works fine tho

Funny, my last working 9v train motor started doing the same thing when it goes around curves. And if you hold one pair of wheels still and rotate the other pair. Anyone know when FXBricks is _FINALLY_ going to start producing replacements for 9v train motors?

Very useful piece when you need to lift and support at the same time in crane beams and loaders. I don't know how Technic survived without it before 2011. Finally crossed over to Lego City in 60324 after years of appearing in system mocs.

When I hear ‘Linear actuator’, all I can think of is Mad Mike from Pimp My Ride. That dude would linear actuate anything he could get his hands on.
