I for one, welcome our new Christmas Penguin overlords. As for everyone else: I certainly wouldn't want to upset them as a slap from a penguin can break human bones!

For those wondering, someone questioned why Tiagos printed gravestone was in the titanic, someone replied that it was an Easter egg, someone else asked why and this set got brought up for its snowflake base.
After all these years I still love that Police Headquarters...
Cool! It’s the Christmas Penguin! I picked this one up at Target a week before Christmas. It’s a neat build. Planning to modify it for my MOC of the Iceberg Lounge.

I assume with 'this set got brought up for its snowflake base' you are referring to 40498 Christmas Penguin? That's one way to explain its top position this week but -without having a peek at reddit- I have another theory:
I see two year old Penguin 40498 beating the new Blacktron Cruiser 40580 as a hint at The LEGO Group we're ready for a 30th Anniversary Ice Planet celebration set! (I can dream about it, right?)
