Random Part of the Day looking to reach new heights
So this brick allows the City fire militia to mount heavy weapons on their previously benign ladders?
Why rescue cats from trees when you can suppress the civilian population with water cannons?
@Kynareth:
How else are you to give them the shaft?
Tomorrow's forecast: Snakes for many, Chutes for others...:)
Do these slide like the old ones do? By the set images I see, I am guessing they are only for fixed-end purposes.
Are they usable as Roller Coaster tracks? They look pretty similar in dimensions.

If they wanted to get away they could always rung for cover
The sliding ladders were so much fun. The 14 long ladders ( https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=4207 T=C) from the 1980s were getting a little short with the increasing size of LEGO vehicles, but the relatively short-lived 16 long ladders ( https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=15118 T=C) were fine.
This new part seems a bit juniorised and short compared to the extendable double length ladders of only 5 years ago in sets similar to 60107 (sadly discontinued in 2019)
Looks more like a Straight section of roller coaster track instead of a Ladder.

Comparing them to: https://brickset.com/sets/containing-design-25059 the raised side parts look to be angled a little too wide, I think.

I had no idea that there were two different lengths of ladder. Given the choice between the two, I’d take the latter ladder.

Same here. Never noticed there were two lengths. And I do have both variants. In different colours even.
