Random minifig of the day: twn346
Posted by Huwbot,
Today's random minifigure is twn346 Orange Safety Vest with Reflective Stripes, Orange Legs, Red Construction Helmet, Glasses, a Town figure that came in a set that was released during 2018.
Our members collectively own a total of 6,215 of them. If you'd like to buy one you should find it for sale at BrickLink, where new ones sell for around $1.90.

So I guess by the time you reach 346 identical siblings, they stopped trying to give out unique names, like three hundred and forty-sextuplets?
Been There, Done That.
Oh, wait.

"You mean they're vigintiquintuplets?"
Nowadays that set would have only been available as a GWP with purchase over $150.
I wish I'd gotten that set, just for the pun in the set's name.
@PurpleDave: I'm reminded of the joke about the census taker who visits the rural family and asks, "How many people live here?" The mom replies, "Well, there me an' Pa, there's Billy, Janey, Matilda, Ricky, Elijah..." The census taker interrupts. "I don't need names, just numbers." "Oh, we don't use numbers, we ain't run out o' names yet!"
Commissioner Gordon!? you're moonlighting in construction? is the economy really that bad?
I mustache you not to question his utility.
@Randomness:
I never watched that show, so I had to look up the reference. I suppose that means there would be a more elegant way to state it, then. And by “elegant”, I mean “hopelessly indecipherable to anyone who doesn’t have a PhD in Latin”.
@NotProfessorWhymzi : Hah, I was thinking 'Stan Lee' myself; only part of Marvel I miss...:|
*AHEM* That said: That set...That. Set...man, I hated when Target bailed from Canada; it created so many 'gaps' in various collections. I mean, TRU (Canada) has gotten 'some' of those exclusives; but this one slipped-past...kinda' stinks...

Meanwhile the rest of the world without tru and target was like *_*
Life ain't fair man.
Real Supervisor energy coming off this guy
How come we have both prefixes twn and cty simultaneously for mini figures, yet Town as a theme arguably ceased to exist 29 years ago?
It's actually refreshing to see a (relatively) plain construction worker as random minifig, after that onslaught of licensed figs. Yes I know there was an astronaut a few days back, but astronauts aren't exactly commonplace now are they?
And, finally, my the first RFOTD that I own! And I own two of him (the second is no longer built), which may reveal something about the sets in my collection.
The medium blue arms make a better combo with the orange jumpsuit, in my mind, than standard Emmett blue.
Official safety orange.

That's actually Emmet wearing his donut (Anglophile = doughnut) eating disguise.
Given that 4820 people own the set this figure comes in, and it only comes in this set, where does the 6215 number come from?

How dare you distinguish between “nowadays” and 2018.
I've now owned both this and the day before's RMOTD. 3 in a row maybe?
Dr. Brainstein?

Dr. Brainstein is apparently, secretly, the construction worker guy for The Village People. Who knew?

Some people own multiples of this set.
