Posted by Huwbot,
Today's random minifigure is col241 Wrestling Champion, Series 15, a Collectible Minifigures figure that came in a set that was released during 2016.
Our members collectively own a total of 26,656 of them. If you'd like to buy one you should find it for sale at BrickLink, where new ones sell for around $3.00.

I use to work next to sweetest lady who was Mom to WWE/AEW Wrestler Christian Cage, and I gave her this minifig to pass onto Christian aka Jay. Of course I had doubles. lol.
I have never seen every wrestler stereotype so achieved to perfection in just one thing before this, but...
*chef's kiss*
It just really captures the manish flamboyance of it all.
Actually having a full map on his belt print is a nice touch
I always thought he was based on the Ultimate Warrior… I’m waiting for Randy Macho Man Savage myself…

Seriously, that's a nice print for the belt. But everything else... wrestling is just not my thing. The hair, the makeup... they've really done a nice job in that I just don't want to look at any part of this. Except the belt print. Cool belt yo.
The hair is epic. Belt design, likewise.
I don't collect the CMF line myself, but if I did I'd be very happy with this one.
With few exceptions, every CMF I own I found sorting through a bulk bin. This one has yet to appear but when it does it would be one of my boys’ faves, I think.
@Grafxguy:
Someone I went to college with ended up marrying Tyler Mane, and I said I’d try to get him a Sabertooth minifig if they ever make one (because he played the character in the first few X-Men movies). So far I have not had to make good on that promise…
Now I need a mullet like this one's. Not sure why or how I'd use it, but I need it.
Edit: Oh snap! I have one in dark orange, thanks to 10291.
Reminds me of the minifig puzzle I got for my birthday last year, he was on there.
Ah, the Ultabrick Warrior...:) No?
Still, on my (ironically termed) "bucket list" is to build a Lego 'Rastlin' Ring; w/rubber band ropes. Even came up w/my first tag-time. After seeing "Violent Night", I built two different Santa's (with slightly different torsos). Their team name? "Just Claus" :D
To me he kinda looks like he’s based on Michael Rourke’s character from The Wrestler, but I admit my knowledge of the wrestling world is poor so wouldn’t recognise if there was a real wrestler to be the inspiration

My first thought as well^^
Although I heard the rumor that this might have caused issues - The series he can be found in was running extremely short (for CMF standards). I read somewhere, that Lego panicked for using a WWE character's likeness without having the license for. Has anyone else heard about this? I'm a bit sceptical though, as someone must have green-lit the series in the first place...
Also Lego practically made a 'bootlegged' Warhammer Dwarf Slayer in CMF S17 and nobody cared :D
Also I think a WWE CMF series would be kinda fun... Though I doubt TLG would consider it a 'brand fit'.

Not my thing either, but I managed to end up with a bunch of these guys. The mullet hair is handy for practically anyone, and the face became handy as warpaint for a bunch of miscreants I have crewing the Destiny's Bounty. Simply took these heads, bodies from the Kendo figure, and an assortment of random wigs, and boom, crew assembled.
As a child, my favorite day of the week was Saturday. My older brothers would bark at me to get up early in the morning. We would grab blankets and pillows to pile on the 'television room' floor. We would get ourselves each a bowl of cut fruit, veg, and delicious cheese. Then, we would watch three wonderous hours of cartoons.
At the end, the cartoon period transitioned to professional wrestling (just as cartoonish). The shock of that transition is embodied in this minifig. Well done Lego!
I think?!... :p

I used this hairpiece for one of my Highlanders, possibly inspired by the film Braveheart (not that I’m a Mel Gibson fan - I’m certainly not that).

Oh, that could and should have happened decades ago, but it didn't. I hope this following clip will cause you more comfort and closure than grief, it is time to stop waiting.

So that said - I wouldn't be too surprised if, after the Monster Trucks and Stuntz-series, we might get another reboot of an '80s classic ("Rasslrz"?), maybe stripped of tricky licenses and preferably without any backstage-drama.
We've got "Penultimate Warrior" over here, we've gotten a few amazing Lucha Libre-fighters, the CMFs gave us 'Karate Kid's own Daniel-san with the license-numbers filed off (https://brickset.com/sets/71027-10/Martial-Arts-Boy - but let's just call him 'Samuel-san' or something). We've received other karatekas, kendokas, boxers, judokas, sumo-wrestlers - dang, TLG could host its own Street Fighter knock-off if it wanted to ("Art of Fitrz?").
And I'd buy every last set and character, I give you my word.
SUNDAY! SUNDAY! SUNDAY!
CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING at the LEGO CITY ARENA!
All day SUNDAY! SUNDAY! SUNDAY!
Be there or be SQUARE, this SUNDAY! SUNDAY! SUNDAY!
Even if I have a medieval fantasy theme, I bought it only for the hair ! This MacGyver mullet haircut is great ! So he is a great haircut fighter with the barbarians and other warriors.
@Atuin:
I can’t speak to twitchy lawyers, but I’ve noticed the CMF availability wax and wane in logical manners. S1 was barely available, outside of LEGO Brand Retail. TRU shipped one case to each store in the US, and some stores qualified for a second case. Nobody got a third. S2 wasn’t significantly better. S3-5 became increasingly more common as retailers tried to satisfy demand, resulting in a glut of S5 flooding the market. Since nobody could unload their S5 cases, S6 was even harder to find than S1 where I live. I’m seeing hints of the same thing now with S23 being easier to find than S24, and we’re less than three weeks away from street date for Disney 3.
They’ve done several minifigs in the numbered series that were clearly inspired by non-LEGO IP (Genie from Disney’s Aladdin), real people (Marylin Monroe, Paris Hilton, Steve Irwin), or a combination of both (Pamela Anderson in her Batwatch swimsuit), and I’ve never heard of any blowback. That’s no guarantee that they’ve never had anyone go after them for leaning too close, but if it had happened, don’t you think we’d have seen news articles about, rather than spreading by comments posted on AFOL sites? We know for sure there were blowups over the first Pooh license, and later over the Bionicle names.
Great figure!!

To Mel Gibson's credit, his Passion movie is the very best movie about Jesus, ever. Whatever else he's done, he has that.

That's subjective, friend. Some people might prefer 'Life of Brian', some might prefer the 'Matrix'-series. Personally, I'm a big fan of 'The Big Lebowski', although in fairness that might have featured a different Jesus.
He did go door to door, though.

I should have been clearer. I meant I’m not a fan of Mel Gibson as a person.

I personally prefer Life of Brian, but I would add Ben-Hur to the list too.
