Perfect for a miniature split-level.
That is all.
This is a part that I had no idea existed, but it's in two sets on my wanted list (41751 and 75325) so I guess I just didn't look closely enough at those sets.
A part I had no idea existed.
And quite frankly, not one I ever expected too. Much too specialized. I don't like it.
It drove a lot of us crazy, trying to figure out how 10300 was built until we found out it was a new part. Same thing happened with 75325, but at least that time several of us were able to recognize it right away.
@TheOtherMike:
You a big skateboarding fan?
@PurpleDave: Not really, the main reasons I want it are the wheelchair and I love the way it uses quarter-circle tiles. If I were a skateboarding fan, then 30633 (which is another set that uses this piece) would be on my wanted list.

It's been used in a skate park, a car, and a spaceship. Not all that specialized.
Would you feel differently if it came in black or trans neon green? :)

Or white. I'm sure we will get a recolour sometime soon.
Looks kinda like one of those parking blocks with a sunken end. I have to say this entire class of pieces where the bottom edge is on a slope is new to me. In my experience nothing else quite like it.
I can’t believe we have so many of these, given how few of them are out there!
I got my first instance of this piece just two days ago in 30633 - I'd never seen it before, and that makes sense now that I know it's only in 3 other sets.
You can never have too many ridgeparts.
Don't like it, sorry. It was clearly only designed for the Delorean and it shows.

It's been used in several sets, but seemingly just because it's available. IMO only the DeLorean (for which it's presumably designed) benefits significantly from it's use, the other sets could probably have used a regular rooftop (maybe with a hinge to put it at an angle) without anyone missing this one.
This is one of those parts that feels like cheating. I don't like it, sorry.
It was designed for the DeLorean, and yet they could have made it better. Those angles don't look like the real car at all.

No, no, no... Obviously, this piece was created for 75325 The Mandalorian's N-1 Starfighter.
:)
@axeleng:
The N1 used it on the tail, which helps sell the idea that the body would taper at that point (tricky, given how much of the armor is stripped off). The two skate parks use it as a grinding rail, which are often sloped to help keep skaters from stalling out in the middle. I see both of these as perfectly valid uses of this part, which would be incredibly difficult to pull off without it. In fact, even being the guy who got a local theater to screen BttF2 on October 21, 2015, with what might have been a screen-used DeLorean parked on the stage, I took one look at the skate park sets and felt that was a much better use of this piece. Although, grinding down one of those rails on a Mattel hoverboard…

It’s actually the top edge that slopes.
