Many LEGO set designers use our BrickLists feature to maintain a list of the sets they've worked on and often provide interesting insights about their involvement.

Once a week we publish an entry from one of their lists on the home page to increase awareness of this information and to encourage more designers to create them.

Robert Heim wrote this about their work on 60294 Stunt Show Truck:

My 7th CITY Set. I was super happy to be able to design the truck for the awesome new CITY Stuntz Line. I was also heavily involved in the element design for both stunt ramp elements. But as a truck fan I especially enjoyed designing this big, customized American Truck. It got it all: a sleeper, crazy color scheme, tall exhaust pipes, a stretched chassis, a few silver drum lacquered pieces and enough space to fit all four mini figures of the set! :-) It's a true mobile stunt show, as everything (bike, ramps, figures, accessories) fits on the truck! All the fantastic graphics and new minifigures were designed by Austin. And quite a lot of talented people were involved in developing these awesome stunt bikes. You won't believe how much time and testing was necessary to get them right!!

He's designed some pretty cool stuff, especially 60324!

A fantastic variety of sets! Personal favourites, the Rollercoaster, the Stuntz Truck, and the Tractor, which just looks so 'right'. (Plus I've always had a bit of a soft spot for tractors since 604-2!)

I always liked what Robert did with the grill on 60294.

The “awesome new CITY Stuntz Line” that has absolutely nothing to do with CITY in my opinion.

That truck does look nice with really nice figs. I have a surprising number of Robert's sets (given the themes they work on). It must be because they're a good designer. Keep it up!

Good to see Mullet Nate getting some work as a truck driver after being let go from 60234

Maybe the stunt show is his winter job (I always imagine stuntz being in some big indoor venue), wile the fun fair is in summer , and the fun fair is moved by his truck as well :)

Interesting to see how many different themes Robert Heim has worked on--and that he was part of the team designing several of the employee sets that I have bought via Bricklink or Bricklinked the parts because I was so delighted with the designs! Thank you so much, Mr. Heim!

It's a very nice four-seater cab. A++ work on the cab. The rest of the set is well done for what it is, with a lot of play value - but not the kind of play value that motivates me, personally, to buy it, and I'm not motivated to buy it just for the truck.

Is the anglerfish on the truck bumper an intentional homage to NetDevil? The anglerfish was the logo and mascot of NetDevil, the software developer for LEGO Universe and an unfortunate casualty after the game wasn’t commercially successful.

CITY is a very broad theme. Space, deep sea, farm, Mars Exploration, swamp, mining, mountain, volcano exploration, are all part of CITY. Stuntz can be closer to the city than these.

Dang, that is a nice portfolio.

As for the thumbnail set - somehow it just really pleases me to see that good old ladder/grill-piece used as, well, a ladder, in modern sets.
