I tried a quick brickset search but couldn't find anything, so is there a frictonless version of this?
This piece has been a wonderful part. And the best part? Its black. Not blue, or tan, or yellow. Black. And the version with the pin part longer being in Dark grey was also a welcome addition.

Since I'm the BIONICLE guy I'd like to mention that one of the earliest appearances of this part was in The Lord of Skull Spiders. While it was far from the only set to have it, it was one of the cheapest of 2015. BIONICLE fans went nuts over it and it easily doubled the amount of sales LoSS would've gotten anyway.
Fortunately, this is readily available in black, so I didn't need to stock up on it like the 2L version.
Another angry piece that snaps and swears.
Haven't seen an Axle that Cross since he broke up Gn'R...Lots of friction when that happen too...:D

I needed this part to complete a used incomplete set I picked up. Couldn't find one despite a long search in my technic bins. Must be relatively rare.
Appears in nearly every Technic set since 2015, with 42082 having 45, as well as lots of non-Technic sets. Still surprise '3 pin with axle' took so long to appear given the blue '3 pin' and blue '2 pin with axle' were around since the 1990's.
