Came in brown also as front of a Count Dooku speeder in a Geonosis set.

I too, see this element and immediately think of Cars 2 and Francesco.

Apparently, I have a few of these in 4209; which: was, is and will always be an awesome set...sits atop my display/bookcase...would like to top some of these into car though...and I'm kinda' picturing some kind of boat using these for pontoons w/stabilizers...

So I just came across one when extracting a 8423 from a heap of parts. I completely forgot about this part.

And now I learn it has been used in sets I knew of but never noticed the NPUs for this part before. They were all hidden just well enough not to draw my attention when those sets were out. Wow!
