By in United States,

So let's see: 9 Harry Potter (3 Brickheadz), 13 City (you forgot to include the one with the polar bear here, Capn), 7 Creator, 1 DC, 2 Disney, 11 DREAMZzz, 13 Friends, 4 Gabby's Dollhouse, 3 Marvel, 4 Monkie Kid, and 3 Technic sets. My good lord, is that a lot of Lego to drop over 2 days.

Gravatar
By in United States,

There's... too many of them!

AAAAAARRRRGGHHH!

*BOOM*

Gravatar
By in United States,

That DREAMZzz line looks pretty incredible. City and Creator 3-1 is looking good as well. And some of those Friends sets could be must haves (looking at you Botanical Garden).

Gravatar
By in United States,

Botanical Garden easily the stand-out winner from those announced.

I'll probably pick up Perseverance and Hogwarts Express also - and if my daughters accompany me to the Lego Store I'll bet we'll come home with one of the Gabby's Dollhouse sets as well.

By in United States,

I know it's just a toy, that kids love knocking things down, but I can't help thinking that I hope that the family in the Family House are the ones who just moved out of the home in the Demolition Site, which is being destroyed to put up the Apartment Building according to the blueprint tile. That way the family can continue to own and build equity and social stability. Still, it means no one else can move into the smaller home and start and do the same. This is how housing prices skyrocket!

By in United Kingdom,

The Creator Land-rover and mega minifigure.
Maybe also the Technic Mars rover.

""But dad, you said we'd be 'eating well', yesterday..."
"Oh, I meant I'm buying myself some great Lego-sets. It also means that we won't be eating at all for a few months. Priorities, sweetheart.""

"Can we play with them at least?"
"You know the rules, this isn't a toy, it's a highly sophisticated inter-locking brick system."

Gravatar
By in United States,

Now we just need Ninjago, Star Wars, and Speed Champions and then we'll have all of the larger theme waves for the year. DC isn't supposed to get much more, and I don't think Marvel was getting a lot either.

Gravatar
By in Denmark,

I sure hope that 31142’s baby’s the same from CMF, or else it’s gotta be expensive. :( Anyway, such great sets. I now looking forward to see the Advent Calendars.

Brickset: “So, how many images do you want to put in this article?”

CapnRex101: “Yes.”

By in United States,

Thanks! The summary is really useful!!

Gravatar
By in United States,

LEGO Friends remains one of the strongest themes going today. The Kitchen, Community Center, and Botanical Garden are all fantastic.

Gravatar
By in United States,

So no image of Dobby without the 403 & 8+ and Friends amusement park that’s just the set, no box?

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Lots of brilliant releases.... oh, and Friends!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Good summary thank you! There were a couple I missed yesterday.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I’m way past ready for the Ninjago City Markets reveal!!!

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

Marvel, ninjago and star wars?

60378 (with polar bears) is there. (Maybe it got added after you commented).

Those have not been revealed yet, other than the three Marvel sets mentioned. I assume the Star Wars sets will be another month or two yet, as those are typically released in August.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Probably easier for me to list the one's I don't want.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I like the City House. It's nice to have a fairly ordinary house for a city family to live in. I have a few of the Creator 3 in 1 houses but the current one is a bit 'fussy' so I don't like it.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Bad strategy TLG! Spouses everywhere will be infuriated this summer and place strict future restrictions on household Lego spending.

Capn, you're gonna have a héll of a job reviewing all this great stuff. Leave the "bigheads" and the Technic to huw, Megan will provide us with a great review for the wonderful botanical garden i'm sure, ... but all the rest is up to you, mate!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Anyone want to rob a bank with me? I'm not a completionist by any means but I want at least half of everything being released in the themes I do collect. Add in the ones I want from the new Dreamzz theme and it's going to be a very expensive summer. Hoping some of this goes on sale fairly quickly. Still have the Ideas Viking Village, Harry Potter D2C and who knows what other surprises for the last half of the year. Still not all caught up on the 1st Quarter releases I want waiting for deals.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Botanical Garden is going to become one of those touchstone sets. It's just too beautiful, and I can see many people purchasing their first Friends set with this.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Probably the best wave reveal over all themes that I can recall.

I am disappointed, though, that it doesn't seem to include the giant venus flytrap in there.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

wow the new city sets are really turning around the theme. way better than the previous ones weve had. those monkie kid and dreamzz sets are stunning as always cant wait for ninjago city markets

Gravatar
By in Finland,

A few Mario sets like the blind boxes and Minecraft sets are yet to be revealed, too!

I believe the next Star Wars sets will be released in August so we could see their reveal shortly. Some of the sets such as the ones based off Ahsoka we won't see until at least September. They'll likely reveal the sets as the show goes like what they did with Mando.

Gravatar
By in Puerto Rico,

Well, I want more images of that City Center.

And the rumoured Ghost! I'm looking forward to seeing updated figures of the crew, although it would probably end up being way too overpriced...

Gravatar
By in Australia,

For a moment I thought I saw a 3x10 printed tile in the demolition site, but when I looked again it was just a few smaller tiles put together.

We've got heaps of info on the Ninjago dragons rising stuff later this year, just not the sets... and most importantly, does the "new show" still have the Weekend Whip?

There's this rumor circulating that it will come pre-packaged with the Phantom as well!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Yeah, I missed out on the first Thrawn minifigure. If they mark him or Captain Rex definitely getting those sets. A Republic Gunship would also be nice.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I am definitely going to be getting 40649, as I don't have any of the other up-scaled minifigures they've done. Edit: Just looked at the "More Images" tab, and that became even more definite. If 71460 weren't a hundred bucks, I'd likely get it, but my Lego budget is going to be stretched enough as it is, so when it comes to that theme, I'll probably limit myself to 71454. Although if I were a bigger fan of certain Heroes in a Half-Shell, 71456 would be tempting, though... On the subject of DreamZzz, does anyone else think that 71453 wouldn't look to out of place among certain Monkie Kid sets?

Gravatar
By in United States,

Perseverance! Yes!!!

Gravatar
By in Poland,

I will say it again: Botanical Gardens is the set of the year. It's just stupid good!!

Gravatar
By in United States,

This is probably the single best large drop of new releases I have seen in…well…ever.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I’m really taken with the Arctic sets. Nice selection of animals and vehicles and an emphasis on marine exploration. Brilliant!

Gravatar
By in United States,

And still no images of new minifig scale Burton Batmobile. Movie is out next month

"Where’s Star Wars?"

In a galaxy far, far away. They say it right at the beginning.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Maybe someone else has better eyes than me, but it looks like the arrow on the Space baby's body in 31142 Space Roller Coaster is blue, not red!?

Gravatar
By in Australia,

Wow! What a line up. All those new animal moulds and Friends sets!! I can't wait.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Definitely looking at the City buildings to increase the footprint of my city. That 3 in 1 Creator Main Street set will also work in nicely with the City Centre. Not sure where my city center is going to be since I think I'll have 3 city centers after this summer.

By in Italy,

Sad to see the Lego company perfectly aligned with the Green Economy agenda. In addition to this, nowadays City sets remind more and more a Theme Park theme than a City theme, judging by the ubiquitous of customed idiots and big over-proportioned childish signs.
I miss the look of 2005-2015 sets.

"Yeah, man. It's almost as if this is some kind of kid's toy, aimed at teaching children healthy and wholesome values, such as not destroying the world, through constructive play. Blasphemy! Heresy! It's these apps, man - it's the government! THEY'RE IN YOUR FILLINGS! STAY OUT OF MY TEETH!"

A bit of confusion here. Destroying the world? Who, and why?
The purpose of a game should be to develop a child’s creativity and reasoning, not to persuade them to contemporary political ideologies. Imagination, creativity and logic are timeless values and presuppose freedom of expression, while indoctrination and conditioning are the negation of these values.
This is doubly true for a construction game like Lego.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I'm a bit worried about that skate park. Needs some sort of steep vert to drop from the top right to the left hand side
Otherwise the only way to get doen is to fall off the sides

Gravatar
By in United States,

Family House could use some work. That Garage for the Car is so small.
City Centre can use a wider overhead above the road too.

Alot of these other sets are nice.

Gravatar
By in Norway,

Any idea of why 42162 Bugatti Bolide Agile Blue is released? I assume someone realised the yellow/black combo didn't look good, blue/black is definitely better and might mean I pick this up on Amazon when it ends up reduced.
