Oh, I have one of these suitcase things like what this comes in: 10659 .
I’m not sure why you’d need a suitcase at a supermarket, but I’m fairly confident you’re doing it wrong.
Suitcases were great for when you had to be in a waiting room for a long time. I remember my second youngest son and youngest daughter using the fire suitcase when I had an eye test once. Didn't last the whole time, but 90% of it!
Interesting this is considered a "Town" minfigure.
The name is quite confusing until you hit “more images” on the set page.

Minifigure information comes from Bricklink. Town is the overall category, they then have City, and Classic town subgroups (Plus some others.) Classic Town and City are further broken down into subgroups.

71023-8 wants a word.
The set includes a cat… are they selling those at supermarkets, now? Idk, maybe they’re not as chewy as they sound.
"Supermarket Female Shop Assistant" sounds like the title of a Japanese book about the existential ennui of modern life
I have parts of the Supermarket Suitcase set but not this figure (bought secondhand from a charity shop).
I have about 5 of the suitcases. I don't really know what to do with them. They sit in a pile gathering dust.

It sits on the back of the scooter when the other woman goes to get an ice cream. That's how my daughter used to play with it. When this set came out, it was nice to get a cat instead of another dog.
@Trigger_ all the cool supermarkets (and railway stations) have a resident cat these days.
I mean sometimes the manager would prefer they aren't there.....but you gonna argue with a cat?
@Trigger_:
Probably employed there. Rodent control.
Good figure; set she's in looks good/practical, which is more impressive as it's a "Juniors" though doesn't look too 'dumbed down'.
