By in United States,

I bought just two packs from series 20 (they ended up as 71027-9 , 71027-8 ), but I cannot effectively articulate just how disappointed I was that this wasn't one of them.
The ones I got weren't bad, with the historically accurate viking and basically just a Power Ranger, but this is just... better.

Huh, I never noticed the leg printing on this one.

"Sp*ce" sounds like the way a hardcore hater of Lego Space would refer to it.

The licensed Nasa model rocket accessory takes this from a good figure to an excellent figure. All around perfect CMF package.

I was so glad to get this one. I love her shirt, the schematics tile, the licensed rocket, pretty much everything about this figure.

@Randomness : 71027-9 is on my wanted list, but if I had to get one of the two, I'm glad I got this one.

@Miyakan : I'm not sure I'd noticed it either. Glad you pointed it out.

How did I miss this one? I have to get it for my 8yo daughter! It's basically her sigfig!

Got one for my 6 year old space cadet. Her name is Nova.

By in Canada,

Funny story: That ship on her shirt. At one point in my childhood, I re-built it without instructions...I had two of 'em at one point; and at some other point both were disassembled. I decided I wanted to reassemble one, but did have instruction...just my memory; which if 'that' serves, I also built it faster that time than previous...

As for the figure, she's very good albeit "specialized". Could be used in a park scene for example w/her model rocket, or leaving a store like a hobby shop, or even just in with a crowd.

Hey, look, it’s a spaceship in that color scheme that no OG Benny ever came with. I think this is also the only Classic Space jersey that has sleeves in a non-Spaceman color.

One of the best CMFs ever!

Benny: Hey, I'm Ben! But you can call me Benny! And I can build a spaceship: Watch this! Spaceship! Spaceship! Spaceship! Spaceship! Spaceship...
Wyldstyle: No! You can't. The skies are surrounded.
Benny: That's okay, I didn't really wanna build a spaceship. Anyway, that's cool.
Unikitty: Well, where can we go where we can't be found?
Emmet Brickowoski: Maybe we could go underwater?
Batman: What if we went underwater?

By in Netherlands,

I might be in the minority here but I found this one rather lazy. People just like seeing a picture of Classic Space, not the figure. I own a 918 and it's excellent an all. But it doesn't make the figure anything more than a town figure. The rocket is rather basic (literally parts from the early 80s!) and although the schematics are nice and go well with the rocket... is that really CMF worthy?

Series 20 had a lot of such figures. Maybe it's because I'm not a town guy, but there were a lot of repeats or borderline regular theme inclusions. The drone guy for example. Nice drone, meh figure just to pad out the drone.

If you like the shirt you might be shocked to find out about the shirt with a rainbow of spacemen. Look it up. It's in multiple sets but personally I first encountered it in 8970 Robo Atrack.

Whoops, that should have been "didn't have instructions", my bad:)

Very nice. I don't recall seeing that before. Thanks for the heads up.

This fig is so awesome! Interesting that the set image doesn't include the rocket that comes as an accessory.

Odd designation, she looks far too young to be a colonel

I have this figure! I use her as a LEGO representation of me.

By in United Kingdom,

My favourite minifigure from series 20, she's so cool! :D Not even because of the classic space reference, because I'm not really a classic space kind of guy; I just really like her design as a character generally.

...and I also got her pretty much free? I got some random eBay offer that gave me a few quid off any purchase, around the time series 20 was new; and, unlike most such eBay offers, it wasn't limited to 'purchases over £15' or anything. So I found someone selling this girl loose, for pretty much the exact price the offer covered, and only had to pay the postage costs while eBay covered the rest, which was pretty nice ^^

...
I just also realised that makes this girl the first RMotD who I own! Nice choice, Huwbot!

I own this for the NASA rocket and the 918 torso. Totally worth it.

It's not a set image. Just a minifigure image. Even though the whole set is a collectible minifgure, Bricklink (Which brickset is pulling from) has that as a set listing, and just the minifigure with no accessories (unless they attach to hip/neck) as a minifigure listing.

I was referring to 71027-6 which shows most of the accessories but not the rocket.

Huh, ok that is weird. I have noticed it on a couple of other CMF's but hadn't paid much attention on this one. It's not one I went out of my way to get.

@StyleCounselor:
They just did it again with Miguel from Disney 3, although in his case it's probably because it looks creepy to show him wearing the sugar skull makeup with a human head resting by his feet. Switching the heads doesn't work, either, as he's just not that recognizable with the regular head.
