They should hide this in Disney sets, to honor the tradition of the "hidden Mickey."

You know, Walt almost built a park in St. Louis, Missouri back in the early '60's before Gussie Bush (owner of Anheuser-Bush Breweing Co. at the time) said some not so nice things about Walt not selling beer in his California park. Walt then sold the land and bought more in Florida, which eventually became Disney World.

It comes in black. Excellent.

I doubt I will ever use it in a Blacktron MOC, but we'll see.

Get behind me, o' Accursed Mouse from the Abyss of Creative Bankruptcy!!

By in United States,

What do you mean that is Mickey Mouse? This is clearly the LEGO part "Design Element 3X4X2X/3, No. 1". COMPLETELY different and unreminiscent of any IP not owned by LEGO.

Interesting piece. Maybe it's meant to be used as an instrument cluster on a dash board?

Eh, I'd prefer not to have a "hidden Mickey" in any Lego set, coming from Ireland where Mickey is slang for something inappropriate.

Are there any ideas for what this part could be used for, other than M I C.. K E Y... M O U S E?
I would genuinely like to know because I have a couple of these pieces and they are currently useless to me.

I own zero of these.

I still sleep well at night.

Drips from a painting?
Part of an explosion?
When turned upside down a dog nose with a mouth beneath it. Like Snuffy, the dog of Miffy

That is a Hidden Mickey indeed, if he can convince you that he is "No. 1".

By in United States,

@ra226: No, it was meant to be Mickey Mouse, but it could make for a cool instrument panel.

I’ve grabbed a bunch of these from Bricklink to add “ Hidden Mickeys” to my LEGO city :D

From that very article, it sounds like the two things being connected is just speculation.
