By in United States,

Is Disney sponsoring this feature or something? 60% of the sidebar is from an IP that they've bought. Ironically, none of them are from IP that was actually created in-house.

What band, song, or genre is he listening to in his headset? The world must know!
Drop your guesses below!

I bet it's "Jurassic park" by Weird Al. (Because why not?)

You're missing the point.... It is supposed to be funny! (I changed it back to Jurassic park, couldn't make up my mind.)

Also, don't tempt the mouse. It may own everything someday!

@Murdoch17:
You changed it back to Jurassic Park from what, exactly? JP is what I responded to. The original song's label is owned by Universal Music Group, and Weird Al's version's label is owned by Sony.

Anyways, I'm sure the federal government will outlaw Disney owning them...if they notice what's going on in time. They did, after all, let them buy Fox, which means they presently own 40% of Hollywood.

I had changed it to "The saga Begins", also by weird al. But I realized that was too on-point, so back to the Jurassic Park it went. HOWEVER: "Sky pilot" by the Eric Burdon and The Animals just came on the radio. It would have been perfect if I had written that originally instead!

That is a nice jacket and top combo. Great for making your own character.

Me personally I think he listens to Imagine Dragons. I absolutely despise that band, most of their songs are terrible and forgettable.

By in United States,

Given what the set he appears in depicts, probably “It’s the End of the World as We Know It.”

Gravatar
By in United States,

He exclusively listens to one-hit-wonders. And not the good ones, but the ones where you wonder how that song ever became a hit.

Gravatar
By in United States,

He's listening to a John Williams soundtrack, but not a Star Wars one. Harry Potter or Superman or something.

Gravatar
By in New Zealand,

GAS! GAS! GAS! from Initial D. Or some other Eurobeats.

Gravatar
By in Canada,

I can't get over this name. I know it's not roe, but every time I see this character I think fish eggs.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Has that hairpiece been used anywhere else? It looks great and seems adaptable to a lot of non-Star-Wars minifig projects.

Gravatar
By in Canada,

Poe: "Resistance Tech Support, how can I help you..."...hey, better than his 'prank call':|

Gravatar
By in United States,

For a second I thought this was a minifig of Toto Wolff.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Oh hey two Star Wars in a row. And two Bionicle in a row from Random Set, must be a first that both RMotD and RSotD have both gone doubles at the same time like that

Gravatar
By in United States,

“Alright, we’ll have to see how long that big butt door can last.”

Only he didn’t say “butt.”

Poe was a waste of his talent but I’m glad that the role elevated Oscar Isaac to higher stardom, he’s both Moon Knight and Miguel O’Hara now.

By in United States,

Definitely jamming out to "The Distance" by Cake

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Never Gonna Give You Up - Rick Astley

Gravatar
By in United States,

@Fandabidozi: Surprised it took this long for someone to Rickroll us.

Gravatar
By in United States,

He's listening to either Ava Max or the song "Bluster"
(Someone here might get the references)

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

After defeating the First Order, Poe became a gamer.

Gravatar
By in Belgium,

he might listen to "that's when i reach for my revolver" by Moby. a punky, energetic song, fitting this moment

Gravatar
By in United States,

When I first saw the pic, I laughed out loud and asked, "What did you do to your hair?!" It looks so funny.

Like, Airplane! the movie. This minifig looks more like Ted Striker than a SW character.

"What's your vector, Victor?"

By in United Kingdom,

Oscar Isaac is a musician. He used to be part of a ska punk band that opened for Green Day and The Mighty Mighty Bosstones. He also wrote and performed a song for the film 10 Years, in which he played a musician. That was an acoustic number, which wouldn’t really suit the Battle of Crait, so I’m going to go with Dookie or maybe just The Impression That I Get.

Moon Knight and Miguel O'Hara isn't exactly higher stardom. Hardly anyone watched Moon Knight and Miguel O'Hara is a voice role in an animated movie. Shameik Moore is the star of those movies but I doubt many people would even recognise him in the street.

Not arguing that Oscar Isaac isn't a big star, but Poe is still probably his biggest role.

Tower's radio clearance, over!

@Ridgeheart:
It’s six episodes, so right there you’d have to divide that total by six (and 415 million seems suspiciously high for any series across all platforms, much less a streaming exclusive on one platform with only 157.8 million unique users). Then you need to find out how they count views. Do you have to watch the end credits? Does it count as a view if you only watch ten seconds? Does it (as it should) pro-rate views by what percentage of the episode you actually watch?

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

Nice headset hairpiece, but it's only in 1 set.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

Great hairpiece. A bit surprising that it's so infrequently used.

Gravatar
By in United States,

@Ridgeheart:
So they said it averaged 12.89M viewers, per minute of runtime. That’s a lot more believable, especially when you consider that the series finale of M*A*S*H is still considered the most-watched scripted TV broadcast with just under 106M viewers in the US. Then the question is how many of those views came from subscribers, and how many were from password-sharing. That doesn’t take away from a show’s popularity (HBO famously tracked how many illegal torrent views each episode of Game of Thrones racked up), but it does impact a show’s profitability. Not only does that represent unrealized potential subscribers, but piggybacking on someone else’s account is creating a drain on the streamer’s resources by making them serve addition views that aren’t even covering the cost to let someone watch it. Given that all these streaming services are having issues turning an actual profit, it’s not surprising that Netflix has already started cracking down on the practice, and other services are sure to follow.

Spider-Verse was a smash hit (albeit one Oscar was barely in) and I have no doubt the sequel will also be. It’s not probably not much of a stretch for someone who has seen the Sequel Trilogy to guess Miguel is played by him off of voice alone, even if they’re unfamiliar with many of the other voice actors. I guess my wording was weird, I wasn’t arguing that Poe wasn’t his biggest role so much as not his best one, but if it weren’t for it he might not have gotten Marvel roles past Apocalypse, both of which are at least kinda big (if not always successful).

He's listening to either "Salt" by Ava Max or the song "Bluster" by Salt
...because he's on Crait

Gravatar
By in United States,

He's listening to static, because they didn't write anything for him to do after the first Disney Wars film.
