On first glance I thought this was a city figure, but now I'm more disappointed. I don't believe that Harry *and* Ginny would both be sappy enough by that time to have named their children entirely after other people they knew mostly from just Hogwarts.
Fun fact: Lilly Luna potter’s hairpiece is only in 3 sets! It was last used in 2018 before this set came out!
A little surprised this doesn’t go for more considering it only comes in one very expensive set.
Is this the newest figure to appear in RMotD so far?
I wonder if they’ll ever find a way to add the epilogue characters left out of the set she was in. About the only possibility I see is if the Hogwarts Express goes the way of the Hulkbuster.
like the character, interchangeable and generic.
Two out of three! Part and figure of the day are both in the same set. I know the set of the day is impossible being too new, so still waiting for the perfect trifecta.
@Randomness:
You just know every time the subject of names came up, he reminded her how he saved everyone from Voldemort.

No.
@Randomness: Lily got her first name from Harry's mother. As for Luna, maybe Harry and Ginny just liked the alliteration.
@MeisterDad: I'm still waiting for all three in one day to be ones I personally own. There've been a few days (including today) where I *didn't* own any of the three though.

I thought she was named for Luna Lovegood (which, frankly, always sounded like a porn star name to me. What were you thinking, J.K.?).

To be fair you could stick her in a City scene and no one would know the difference; she looks nothing like either of her parents and has no wizard-specific clothing so could be a passenger in any train, not just the Hogwarts Express

From Studio C:
Adolf Stalin Mussolini Potter-you are DEFINITELY going to be in Hufflepuff!
@Brickalili:
Well, but she’s got that corpselike pallor that indicates she’s licensed…
Man,I don't like these generic kid faces....

Do you see what's happening here, Alanis? THIS is irony. It has nothing to do with hoarding spoons or inconsiderate office-management regarding smokers and smoke-breaks. This, right here. You're welcome.

Lily makes sense: they named their son James. It’s the Luna that doesn’t make sense. Why that name? It does seem that in the Wizarding world it is common to name children for dead relatives. (e.g., Frederick Gideon and George Fabian) But Luna is still alive! Also, Albus Severus? Come on! No sane person would name their child after an abusive teacher, no matter if he had actually been on the right side of the war in the end.
I don't fully understand why they would have named their kids these names. Lily Luna maybe, but still if it was after their close friend Luna, then that is quite an honor for her. They should have done Lily Lavender considering she died thanks to Fenrir.
But I don't mind the genericness of the figure, I did buy the figures from that set just to complete my collection, but couldn't justify the price tag of the whole set even though it is a nice display piece.
It doesn't matter what house she's going to be in, she'll still be called "Flower Potter" by both the students and the teachers.
This one's on you, Harry. You should have known better than to saddle your child with this combination of names, you monster.

No, but they had a good cry together, right before Snape croaked, so it’s all good. Everything’s forgiven. Wait, Snape never stalked Harry’s mom, did he?

Sounds more like a Bond Girl name.
Good evidence that I haven't had much interest in Harry Potter sets since about... the cusp of 2001 into 2002, I guess, that I had NO IDEA last year's Hogwarts Express had epilogue characters.
@Norikins: Come to think of it, there's probably a fair amount of overlap between Bond Girl names and porn star names. The gal from Goldfinger whose name made Bond say, "I must be dreaming" comes to mind.
@Sethro3 but Lavender was also Ron’s disturbingly clingy ex-girlfriend. War hero or not, I doubt Harry and Ginny wanted their daughter to be a constant reminder of that fact to Uncle Ron and Aunt Hermione.
@PurpleDave not that I recall, but he DID try to convince Voldemort to spare her life when he made it clear he intended to kill Harry. He also betrayed his allegiance to Voldemort to ask Dumbledore to protect the Potters, though you can bet it was only Lily he was really thinking about.
