Jay Future, but only if the appearance change hadn't happened.
And what are the odds they have that same hairstyle their whole life?
@Randomness:
I haven't changed my mane in 25 years.
I love this minifigure so much, but never got that Bricktober pack.
I do wish they kept making Future Ninja variants to complete the set, like what they did with the Stone Armour Ninja minifigures.

Yeah, we’re still short Future Kai and Zane. And Golden Techno Cole and Jay, for that matter.
@SearchlightRG:
And Nya never got a DX costume, and La-Loyd's DX outfit looks very different from the original four...
Quick lore
During season 5 of Ninjago our heroes visited the Tomb of the First Spinjitzu Master
There they saw mirrors that showed what they would look like in the future.
This is what Jay saw in his mirror. Some notable features include the eyepatch and the fact that he marries Nya.
There's actually fan speculation over weather or not what the mirror shows you is "true." Jay temporarily wore an eyepatch in season 6 and his relationship with Nya deepened around season 10, making it possible that this is actually collation of different things that happen to him at various points in his life placed onto one aged figure, rather than a snapshot of him at one point in time.
Interesting that it's Jay Future, not Future Jay or Jay (Future.) Is this a different Jay from the usual Ninjago one who just happens to have the last name Future?
Y'know, with the goatee, and mustache, and eyepatch, he kinda reminds of a lego-ifed version of Mashima from the "Yakuza" series.
First: Jay IS my fave ninja (or ties with Nya...Zane's reeeeally close too...), Second: have that set, and...Third: Fig TIES w/Kabuki Nya (also in the same set) as...if not fave of all time Ninjago figs; defiantly top five...:)
This figure's legs look great on Kimono Jay
That facial hair and an eyepatch and you’re telling me he’s not the bad guy?

Maybe in the future.
What a great looking figure! I'm still not sure how I feel about Jay's new looks. Some of the others were obvious improvements, but his I'm not that opinionated on.
The true question is... will Jay ever end up actually looking like this in the future, due to his sudden change in hair colour and style in season 8?
My answer: probably not.
Agent Fuse's hair!

I mean, we technically also got Future Cole... :P

Does Cole seeing nothing mean that he dies in the foreseeable future?????

That, or the mirror just really wanted to let him know about his forthcoming invisibility powers…
Or, you know, that he was in danger of fading out of existence unless he returned to human form.
You know,I really think ninjago is the theme with the best minifigs.
How come people of the future always sport an eye patch?
These sorts of special minifigure packs are one of the things I miss about the demise of Toys R Us in the US—they were a great source of some of the more obscure characters and costumes in the series, with consistently great prints and other detail.

Maybe he becomes a bad guy in the future.

Several years ago, they did a Young Indiana Jones series. It was shot on location all over the world, insanely expensive to produce at that time, and very quickly got cancelled before the remaining episodes were released as feature-length films, and all the existing episodes were paired up (in one case even splitting up the series premiere to pair each half with other eps). The broadcast versions were all bookended by scenes with a geriatric Indy played by George Hall, who would have random encounters with people, places, or things, which would remind him of some adventure he had as a kid. And George Hall’s costume included an eyepatch.
Hall was 76 when Young Indy premiered, and Harrison Ford (80) is four years older than Hall was. However, Hall played the character aged 93, so technically there’s still time yet to see him lose his right eye. If he loses the left one, then Hall’s portrayal is clearly invalidated.

It’s a pretty good way to indicate increased danger and/or decreased ability of a character in the future.
That, or said character was distracted enough to look at the sun through a telescope and had a zany friend in the habit of stashing eyepatches everywhere.

It's because in the future they earn their eyepatch by being captured by sky pirates led by a djinn (genie) prince and being forced to fight on their flying ship for their entertainment. After surviving a kabuki-mask headed man, a giant woman who looks like a... blue thing? and a robotic monkey that was once a man the snake-person gives the eyepatch.
But only in a timeline that ends up erased.
At least that's the case for Jay here.
Yes, really.
Idk if it's for every future eyepatch wearer. But you never know...
@SearchlightRG:
Or they wear an eyepatch which they switch between eyes, to make each eye stronger or somesuch, like a character in some film I watched (Captain Ron?).
