A fun little piece with lots of interesting connection points.

By in United States,

I appear to own four sets (plus three duplicates) that include this part, but I don't think I've actually built any of them, nor do I recall needing this part for any MOCs. It's interesting, sure, but it's one of those parts that you just don't need until you _need_ it.

Don't expect him to win any acting awards, though.

Was expecting this to be mostly a bumper or rollcage, was surprised to find its usually used as an antenna sort of thing

Got in 7 sets... most surprising being reindeer antlers!

Wow, I have this in 11 sets, and have only built 1- the aforementioned reindeer antlers. 854038: Christmas Ornament Reindeer

Yikes, it's time to build more and buy less.

By in Germany,

If you would link these into a circle with a suitable connector (perhaps the 2x2 rounded thingy they use for their city "Modular vehicle system" now), that would probably make a cool sci-fi build, a portal or something like that

Great part for ATV bullbars!

Ditto... With my current backlog, and assuming I live to the average age of a UK male, I need to build at least 1 set every 10 days!

Same here. My problem is storage, it's taken over my house.

The first two instances of this, in 2018, were pantograph shoes on electric trains. The pantograph is the extendable gizmo on the roof, and the shoe is the bit that actually makes contact with the overhead wires. Power runs through the wires, transfers through the shoe, and grounds through the rails.

If you look at some of the photos here, you can see the clear resemblance to this element.

I have a decent-sized storage area where I kept unbuilt sets and old boxes. Unfortunately, I cramned it to the gills.

So, now I am taking everything out to flatten the old set boxes (should've done that in the first place!!) and reorganize. It's a lot.

If I don't hurry, Mrs. StyleCounselor is going to go crazy.
