"Do you want to build a Snowman?"

Fun fact: Elsa was the last figure I got when I completed Disney series 2, fact is a little on-the-nose, but still a fact!

For some reason I have five of this one. I have no idea why.
Also, the snowflake that comes in the set is classed under 'rock' on bricklink. I don't know why.

Unlike Edna Mode, I like capes.

Geologist here, ice crystals such as snowflakes are technically considered minerals!

Around Christmas, I’ll have her using her ice powers to make 41169, with Anna and Olaf (and some Snowgies) standing at her side. You’d be shocked at the number of times some kid sees that and proclaims, “Look, Elsa is attacking Olaf!”

I'd definitely like to see LEGO do more Disney Princesses that aren't minidolls.

Honestly, I think Edna should just "let it go!"

We have minifigure versions of every Disney Princess except Cinderella, Snow White, Rapunzel, Belle and Merida. And those first three are all confirmed to appear in the upcoming Disney castle set.

Ironically having the immovable claw hands of a minifig means she is incapable of letting anything go

The second RMotD who I own... again from the CMFs, which I guess I can't be too surprised about!

My one of her has a little bit of a story: after seeing minifigure Christmas crackers advertised here on Brickset a few years back ( https://brickset.com/article/54732/latest-offers-at-minifigure-maddness ), and passingly mentioning them to my dad, he improvised our own version of them by buying some standard generic-brand crackers and a few random collectable minifigures, who he split up and stuffed into the crackers to make them more interesting! Elsa here ended up being one of those minifigures--

And, happily, one of the ones who I'd had an eye on getting from this series anyway ^^

-- so she's now a part of my collection ^^

Her cape bugs me a little because it's one of those ones that doesn't hold a shape and so prefers to stick straight out from her back instead of hanging down in a way that looks natural. But on the whole she's a pretty cool minifigure (no pun intended).

Clearly, you haven't seen the Ted Lasso episode where Hannah Waddingham belts out 'Let It Go.'

I'm not much of a showtune person. But, that's some mighty fine singin'!

Maybe the second one,the first was fine with me (other than the youtube kids drama a few years back.)

Better than any live action remake,TLJ and TROS,she hulk, most star wars live action shows, and better than Disney world prices nowdays.
Yeah, frozen is not the worst thing about disney...

@Ridgeheart:
And it’s worth noting that this was a story that _Walt_ wanted to adapt into a feature film. So, it took decades for them to finally figure out a way to crack the story.

Is Frozen that good? The Last Jedi is probably Disney's best SW movie. But probably because it's a more mature film fanboys didn't like it.

Got that figure and Anna's figure too to replace the minidolls from my 43197.

@GenericLegoFan: When I saw TROS in your list, I thought you'd mistyped TRON. And while I do like Frozen, I love TRON, so wondered what you were on until I realized what you were saying.

So, I just realized the Disney Princess line (which for a weird reason is only listed as 'Disney' on Brickset, or specifically the minidolls version (so not the Duplo sets) appeared in 2014.

Yes, it's almost 10 years we've had that line.

Idk, but it feels like the lineup is getting seriously stale. So many themes are turning 10 and some even 20 years and going soon (City!)
I mean, that used to be something special after the original evergreen themes withered away at the end of the 90s. Now it's just a lot of licensed themes or TV show backed stuff that keeps getting sets year after year after year.
I'm probably just getting old but man am I glad we're at least getting something truly new with Dreamzzz.

My wife has two of these--her only minifigs from this series and, like most of her collectible minifigs, stocking stuffer Christmas presents from me. I did the true "grab off a shelf at random" thing that year. I'm going to call this an illustration of the basic principle that random selection is a poor way to buy (maybe not so poor a way to sell...) minifigures.

"Frozen" was ok (good characters, decent story), but as for '2'; well...
I didn't GO,
Oh HECK NOOOO...

Basically, "Wreck it Ralph 2" wrecked any 'like' or 'want' to see more 'Disney' stuff, animated or otherwise (check out of Marvel when it started, and Star Wars...well:()
