I think it has to do with that popular "Sitcomplex" MOC that combines all the sitcom sets into a big apartment building.

Certainly not. The Prince of Egypt, The Road to El Dorado, and Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas are three of the best animated films made. It’s a shame Sinbad was the last 2D animated film they made.
