A Disney fig with today's unveiling? Unfurl your conspiracies, people!

Still annoyed the new book sets have two different coloured halves. It will ruin the whole aesthetic.

These micro dolls are pretty cute though.

I knew building the fallout shelter would pay off, and into it I go.

It shouldn't be possible (at least in real life), but it looks like her eyes actually grew _smaller_ when she grew up!

By in Australia,

I didn't watch Encanto when it came out, but a few of my friends (who know how much I struggle with my own family) recommended it to me. I saw the DVD cheaply, recently, and thought, why not? And it's funny because from the opening song (where Mirabel sung about her sister, the perfect "golden child", and the uncle that they just don't talk about), I knew exactly what the movie was about, that this story was about a perfect family who had serious, deep problems that we were going to spend 90 minutes trying to fix. Oh boy, it hit me hard, though.

Fun fact: microdoll mirabel and minidoll mirabel are currently tied in number of figures!

Why do all the young mini-dolls flash gang signs these days?

@goldenguy880: Close: who Dis-ney:)
Apparently (and I guessed as much) she comes from the animated movie "Encanto"...which I didn't watch (again, "Wreck it Ralph 2"=soooo mad)

Yeah, I watched it on Disney+ after one of my best friends demanded me to. The music and story were amazing. I loved that there was conflict but not a villain. The struggles each character faced were well written, and the finale was fantastic. It definitely was one of the hardest hitting Disney movies.

By in Canada,

Huh, I just sold a new copy of the set this microdoll features in this past week. So I've never seen this in person.

I will never understand the "closed hand" design of these, though. Figs for me are supposed to have C hands, not O.

They are smaller than regular hands. The hole allows them to hold pin style accessories such as https://brickset.com/parts/4540552/feather

The Minifigure Baby mold however has the C hand, and can't hold anything.

@PhantomBricks:
And yet, I have chosen to never watch it until the three missing Pixar films make it to the big screen.
