Ooh. A very nice piece. Great for lots of things, but mostly Water for me.
Only downside, I don't have the quantities I need in 1x1 for most colours, so I can't shape the edges as well as I would like.

Pretty neat part for water, but I always find the 1x2 ones better for texture.

Because they don't have the bars on the underside?

I like a mixture of transparent colours in light blue, dark blue and even some green or clear for water features.

But this is one place I avoid yellow.

Have you tried using plates in different colors underneath the trans tiles? My collection is severely lacking in trans light blue, but I have a decent amount in clear and have used that technique in the past to improve the look.

It comes in trans neon green, the only trans colour it needs to be.

And both Black and white exist in solid colours, so all around perfection.

So don't use 1x1's. Tile a slightly larger surface, and layer wedge plates over them to create your shoreline.

I often use studs or other 1x1 plate-sized pieces thrown in a pile or distributed over a surface. Ridges of them can form proto-waves.
