This set replicates the whole training journey, from capture to practice, food and rest. It is an All-In-One SMART Play set meaning that the SMART Brick is included, which is reflected in the price.

Review: 75455 Boba Fett

There have been a substantial number of large-scale characters produced this year, sometimes to the point of them becoming rather repetitive. 75455 Boba Fett definitely stands out from this crowded field though, potentially looking more authentic than any other LEGO statue!

The vibrant colours of Boba Fett's armour work brilliantly for a model of this scale and I like the pose too, which looks fairly realistic. We have seen droids represented accurately by this kind of statue, although I doubted whether a human character, even an armoured one, could ever look as impressive as Boba Fett does.

Review: 11370 Stranger Things: The Creel House

Stranger Things debuted ten years ago and was an immediate cultural phenomenon, becoming a great tribute to 1980s pop culture and cementing Netflix as a huge force in entertainment. 2019's 75810 The Upside Down recreated the humble beginnings of the series and is a beloved set in its own right.

In the years and seasons since, the terrifying Vecna emerged as the true big bad pulling the strings of the Upside Down. Born as Henry Creel, his family home has now been immortalized in brick form as 11370 Stranger Things: The Creel House, depicting scenes from the fifth and final season of the series.

The model not only features a brilliant transformation function, but there is much more to discover, as well. This unique set definitely warrants a closer look.

Review: 76350 Spider-Man vs. Hulk Epic Clash

Minifigures are often the priority in LEGO Super Heroes sets, sometimes to the detriment of the actual models. There are few examples as stark as 76350 Spider-Man vs. Hulk Epic Clash, which seems extraordinarily bland, particularly for the price of £79.99, $89.99 or €89.99.

There is something interesting about such a set, however, with a brilliant selection of minifigures and potentially an enjoyable function. Spider-Man: Brand New Day is out now, so it is time to examine one of the stranger Super Heroes sets of recent years!

LEGO 40958 Christmas Stocking announced!

Welcome to August and the unveiling of a new Christmas set! The festive season is mere months away and 40958 Christmas Stocking has been added to LEGO.com ahead of its release on October 1st.

I think it looks rather nice, featuring an intricate tiled pattern on the front and with various seasonal items emerging from the top. There is even an exclusive minifigure, presumably inspired by The Nutcracker. This set contains 342 pieces and will cost £29.99, $34.99 or €34.99, which seems a bit expensive relative to other Seasonal sets.

New LEGO Wednesday sets announced!

To celebrate the launch of the LEGO Pokémon SMART Play range, from today shoppers will receive 40887 Ditto as Squirtle: Movie Night with purchases of LEGO Pokémon SMART Play sets. The threshold of £115 is a rather sneaky one, as the way it lines up with the set prices means even with the largest set (£109.99) you need to buy more than one item to qualify. In many cases, customers would need to buy at least three or overshoot with two large sets.

This adorable little creep is one of my favourite representations in this rounded cuboid style, and to be honest, a whole range of ‘Ditto as…’ would have been fine in my books! These sets use countless new or recent pieces to achieve this characteristic smooth style, so let’s have a look after the break.

We weren't sent the large set to review, but the GWP arrived yesterday, so let's find out if it's worth acquiring it while you can.
