LEGO interests:

Old school model builder (Revell, Testors, Monogram WWII tanks, battleships, aircraft carriers, etc.) but had small LEGO sets as a child. Love the whole model building hobby.
Many yrs. later, son 3, got a Mega-Bloks Pro-Builder Helicopter. We enjoyed it immensely. Great bonding moment.
Went in search of more, realized Lego and Mega-Bloks are very different companies, and Lego clearly stood out as the superior designer and high brick quality standard.

Early '08 got INDIANA JONES TEMPLE ESCAPE.
Fantastic set, loved it ever since.
Collecting picked up at San Diego Comic Con 2008 purchasing IMPERIAL DROPSHIP and REBEL SCOUT SPEEDER for my then 5 yr. old son. Also lucky enough to get BRICKMASTER SAN DIEGO COMIC CON EXCLUSIVE INDIANA JONES set (limited to 500 kits) at the same convention. Been hooked ever since!

Favorite themes are INDIANA JONES (all-time) and Star Wars.
Last couple years enjoy building many kits from the IDEAS line.

- UCS SUPER STAR DESTROYER

Favorite Set (Overall) - INDIANA JONES TEMPLE ESCAPE
(The traps, details, scenes capturing the opening sequence of Raiders of the Lost Ark fairly accurately).

-Favorite Minifigure - INDIANA JONES
(Hat, whip, satchel - the overall look spot on for such a small figure).
Runner-up - CHROME DARTH VADER.

Favorite Mech - ROBO ATTACK
(fantastic and extremely posable model).
Favorite Midi-Scale - IMPERIAL STAR DESTROYER
Favorite Mini-Scale - SLAVE I (Brickmaster).
Favorite Star Wars vehicle - 6212 X-WING FIGHTER
(great design and a sturdy model).
Favorite Vehicle - TUMBLER: JOKER's ICE CREAM SURPRISE
(Although not movie accurate the design and detail of the Tumbler look great).

(One of Lego's best of all time!).
