Magic Maze, more like DIFFICULT Maze
This newly available GWP (gift with purchase) Magic Maze was a fun looking extra that LEGO promoted - and I decided it was worth placing an order with LEGO in order to get it. I am not disappointed with my choice, as this maze turned out to be quite the nice toy to entertain our entire family.
The build itself is not at all challenging and goes very quickly, even for over 300 parts. Here's a look at the parts and instructions as well as a couple photos of the base construction.

As far as parts and pieces go - nothing stands out, aside from these couple of notes. You get an extra bee and ladybug printed parts. Those are fun. 2 orange balls, which in my recent years of building, aren't that common. Also, a new part - labelled a bush with single tube. I had not run across one of these before, and you get an extra one with the set.

All put together! Very colorful and also quite challenging to play, as my whole family soon found out!

Inside the hidden maze

Difficult section - you will lose your ball off the maze so many times trying to navigate all of these obstacles. The red boxes are quite difficult to move through, as you need to hop the ball up each one of them. Not an easy task at all. The blue teeter-totter is the next challenge and takes a bit to figure that out. Moving onto the next section, the ball will not fall through the first gap you see, between the grey end points. HOWEVER, that is definitely NOT the case in the next 2 sections. Once you navigate through the spinner, that flame yellow bridge is very tricky, and then you have to hug the side of the orange section or your ball will fall through the bottom.

End sheep and ladybug placement. Even at this stage, it's still tricky to move through the maze and keep your ball on the game surface. It looks easy, but everything is placed very strategically to make it difficult to keep the ball in play, all the way into trying to roll it up the last hill into the seashell cup.

So - what do I think of this set? Fantastic! LEGO is meant to be fun and played with and this maze succeeds in all aspects. It's a breezy build, it looks like a fun toy, with all of its colors and parts usage. As far as playing with it - it is not something you are going to master in 5 minutes, if ever! I feel that it has a great replay factor for anybody who comes across it.
