The Most Unique LEGO Star Wars Set of 2023
So, I wasn't the biggest fan of The Mandalorian: Chapter 18. Which was the episode that this vehicle appeared in. But I love this set. The two minifigures are excellent. With Mando having the new Darksaber and additional helmet printing, and Bo-Katan having all new printing and a new hair piece. I do still think that the Darksaber needs printing, and Mando needed a hair piece. But these figures are excellent. Grogu is also included and remains unchanged since 2020. The build itself is excellent. The legs all have rubber elements that create an excellent suspension for the tank. The tank itself looks excellent and has ample amounts of detail and griebling. The head is also quite excellent as well. The two arms at the front don't have too much articulation, but they can easily hold a minifigure, which is excellent. Finally, there's a secret gun that can deploy from the top. It's a cool play feature, even though it wasn't present in the show, and it can be easily hidden in the build if you don't like stud shooters. Overall, this is a fantastic set, with a good value, two great minifigures, and a stellar build. It just needed the cyborg that drives the tank, Grogu's pod, and the spittle that the cyborg uses to withdraw Mando's blood. But other than that, this is a fantastic set that I fully recommend to all LEGO Star Wars fans.

Spider Tank! Spider Tank! Does Whatever a Spider Tank Does
I got this set at my local Walmart. Knowing that it hadn't been released by LEGO I had to pick it up.
MinifiguresThe Mandolorian: The same minifigure you probably have a zillion of by this time. The only interesting thing is that he has the new helmet mold and is carrying a new dark saber design. Along with his blaster.
Grogru: the same microfigure you get in every single mandalorian set.
Bo-Katan: the real draw of the set. This is an outstanding minifigure. I really like the new light blueprint on her armour. Her helmet is accurately printed with even scuffs around the visor. Her torso and leg printing is excellent. She also has amazing arm prints with accurate night owl symbols. She has a new specially moulded hairpiece and a double-sided head with an angry and happy expressions. With her headband moulded on both sides. She carries two automatic pistols.
The Build
The spider tanks is an excellent set that looks exactly like the source material. The only thing missing is the cyborg driver from the show. It has hidden stud shooters and a cockpit. Semi articulate claws and legs that are a lot of fun to move around. The set just looks amazing.
Overall
This is an excellent LEGO set. I would definitely recommend this set. The only downside is there is no pilot to drive the tank. But any ruffian styled minifigure would do.
Spider-tank! Spider-tank!
Does whatever a Spider-tank can
Snaps a claw, climbs a wall
Look out here comes the Spider-tank!

Great figures cool build not so great price
Minifigures:
We get three minifigures, we've had Mando and grogu before so nothing knew there. The main draw of this set is the bo katan minifigure which looks stellar but for one issue. The female mandalorian visor print is just too small for the helmet which holds the overall figure back.
The more noticeable aspect of the minifigures is what's missing. Its immensely disappointing that the droid was not included in the set which holds back the entire set as a result.
The build:
As build experiences go this was both enjoyable and repetitive. Certain aspects of the set such as the legs require repetitive building but that can't be avoided. As for the rest of the build the design is very solid and the build looks very good with some awesome play functions like the cockpit and stud shooters.
The price:
This is where the set falls apart for me, the minifigures are great and so is the build but the price is not. At £46 it just feels like Lego is banking on mandalorian hype from season 3 to convince people this is worth buying at retail but like the show this falls a little flat on arrival. As things go this is definitely a set you should wait to go on sale before you purchase as at full price it's just too pricey for what you get and there are better mandalorian sets available with a better figure selection and value for money. If this set were £35 or I included the badly missed fourth minifigure it would be perfect but unfortunately neither is true so wait for a sale.

Watch out Mando
The Bo Katan figure is great and has amazing arm printing and leg printing making it super accurate. The darksaber finally has its own mould however it is not as good as many fans were hoping for as dual moulding was to be expected, yet it was not delivered. The crab mech is very accurate and poseable just like in the show, however, there is no droid like person who is inside the droid which would have been better for this set as you only get 2.5 minifigures for $50 which is not worth it. I suggest getting this when it goes on sale if only just to get the new darksaber piece and the Bo Katan minifigure.
