LEGO BIONICLE (Toa Mata) - Kopaka Review

Written by (AFOL , rhodium-rated reviewer) in Germany,

This is a cool figure to have and it's fun to play with as well.

    Box/Instructions

The instruction has 32 pages and there're no mistakes in it.

    Parts

This set has 33 pieces and it was 7 USD when it was on sale. That means that the price per piece ratio was 21 cents per piece which is a really good value for a figure like this.

    The build

The build is very nice and easy and we also don't get any stickers to worry about.

    The completed model

The arms, the legs and the feet can be moved. On the back of the torso is a gear which you can use to move the arm with the sword full 360°. I really like the design of this figure and I also like the mask which comes with this set.

    Summary

All in all this set is an great set and I would HIGHLY recommend you to get this. You can find this set on eBay, BrickLink and Amazon for sure. Here is the link where you can check out the full gallery I made for this set on my website: http://www.klokriecher.de

    Amazing with the others

Written by (KFOL , bronze-rated reviewer) in United States,

Alright. My fith Toa Mata review will be alot better than the others, as I can write more now and am a exellent writer from already writing the first novel in my book sereis. Kopaka is a very cool Toa Mata, with the same gear function as the other Toa Mata's. His sword is one of my favorite weapons, as it is unique to this set. The sheild on his left arm is pretty nice, the only problem being THERE IS HOLES IN HIS SHEILD. If you had holes in your sheild in a real battle, you'd be dust in about 20 seconds. His mask is deatiled and fun, as it is used in play like bicnoucualrs most of the time. His head is the normal Mata/Nuva/Turaga/Matoran and other 2001-2003 Bionicle sets only with blue eyes, common for Toa of Ice.

He is a very nice set and I recommend you buy him and the other Toa Mata on Bricklink, Ebay or Amazon.

  • The Original Toa of Ice

Written by (Unspecified) in United States,

Kopaka is the original toa of ice in the 2001 bionicle line.
He is the best of the bunch, with his ice sword and sheild, and great mask of x-ray vision. However, the greatest thing about Kopaka, and all the early Bionicle sets, is the gears. His sword arm moves by turning the gear on the back, and his sheild arm is held in place.

The colour scheme is great, the white and grey, a very subtle, but appropriate design for the coolest toa of ice ever!

  • my favourite

this one was my favourite when I got it but now i like each of the toa from this series the same. In the video that I talked about for the Lewa review, it touched some avalanching snow boulders and ty froze in mid-air and then it touched them again (with its sword and they fell to the ground.

  • Toa Mata of Ice

Written by (Unspecified) in United Kingdom,

Kopaka was my... 2nd bionicle, although I didn't like bionicles back then, so I broke it up. Fortunately, I've built him back.

    Pros:
Kanohi Akaku, Mask of X-ray Vision
    Ice Sheid
    Ice Sword
    Stands up well
    Very Poseable

    Cons:
    Mask falls off easily

Overall, 5/5, and if you are a bionicle collector like me you will enjoy it as much as I do.
