The best lego adventurers set
I was not disappointed at all when I got this. It's an incredible build with plenty of play features, and best of all, it comes with every major character in the theme!
It's grand and sets itself apart from all the other Lego sets in my collection. I really like how it's built like a pyramid with the entrance being a large gaping mouth. The magnet used in this set is very clever, and the side builds like the truck, and the hot air balloon did not disappoint.
In conclusion, I recommend this set 100% if you have the money
Pros:
Minifigures
Play features
Builds
Cons:
None

Best set to build a clone army
The set was definetily the best clone battlepack until 75372 came out, you could build 3 armies at once and it was reasonably priced when it on shelves. Only things i dont like are the aftermarket price and the speeder included does seem a little "flat" to me. Overall great set though

Awesome set back in the day
The set is really good, it was good way to build a battle droid army when it was on shelves. The two builds included are also neat. The only down side is the aftermarket price but i cant take any stars away for that. 10/10 set overall

Wonderfully Versatile Set
I received this set as a kid and it is still one of my favourite sets. I don't feel like LEGO makes many sets that provide the playability and versatility of sets LEGO made in the 90s. A few examples of little things I find really cool about this particular set are as follows:
- The use of magnets and a crane could pick up treasure boxes, then you could utilize the same crane and magnet to pick up little rovers or a ship the mini-figures can hop in.
- The same mini-figures can little rovers can also utilize their magnets to haul the treasure chest.
- There are tool chests that also have magnets on them and rest on platforms of the main vechile that the crane can adjust to, pick up and drop with a crank and a turn.
- They open up to reveal different tool sets for the mini-figs.
- The cockpit on the main vehicle doesn't just "pop" off, it opens up and when closed, there is a piece on a hinge and swivel that holds it in place.
I really wish LEGO made more sets like this. It feels like a lot of ideas were packed into a single set. The theme was great. It fit in with unpublished and imagined stories and cultures of the Blacktron, the Futuron, and the Space Police. A whole world of space explorers were created. A world only limited by the imagination of person playing with the set.

Something seems … fishy here
Series 25, in my eyes, is a good but not very remarkable series, with the figures generally ranging from ok to good. One that immediately caught my eye though, was the retro detective. Not only was it a novel idea for unlicensed CMFs, but it’s a figure idea that I’ve wanted to see Lego execute and I even drew up my own concept of what a CMF retro detective would look like a couple years back, so seeing it finally realized is pretty special to me.
I love that this figure depicts a film noir style detective, with the whole figure being in a grayscale color scheme. His trench coat is satisfyingly detailed with stitches and buttons on the torso, and a fabric collar piece complements the detail brilliantly. The dual-molded legs is a fantastic touch as well. If I had a nitpick, I’d say the arms could’ve featured some printing, perhaps for additional stitching/ button detail, but otherwise, the outfit’s great. I love his stern expression and bushy moustache, and it's pretty cool how they didn't just reuse the existing fedora hat but opted to create a new hat element. Finally, his accessories include a magnifying glass, an expected but fitting accessory, and… a red fish? I can’t quite place my finger on it, but it seems to be some sort of red herring. But seriously though, I love the contrast of the colored accessory to the grayscale figure, and it's such a clever accessory.
Overall, I’m very happy with this figure. I’m glad Lego finally tackled a retro detective figure in their CMFs and the execution is fantastic. A great idea for a figure coupled with clever accessories makes for a winning minifigure. I might prop it up higher for personal reasons, but that won’t stop me from calling it my favorite figure of Series 25 and giving it a recommendation.
