No, still as popular as ever, judging by the number of members owning them on the database!
I'm not sure about this set. From a castle perspective I like it, but I'm not a HP fan so it's difficult to make a decision on it. I brought the large one to transform into a moc and though I like the look of the alley buildings, I've held off because of the half back and price.
An 'if money were no object' set probably.

This website is not a proper database to evaluate the larger population as a whole. This website is a specific demographic of fans. But hey, whatever floats your boat.
I wish they'd do a version that represents the castle in the first two movies, before the entrance hall was replaced by a courtyard and the Defence Against The Dark Arts Tower was replaced by the Astronomy Tower, and all of the spires made steeper. I always preferred the earlier iteration. Maybe it's because of that fabulous scene from the first movie where the 1st years crossing the lake on boats (and the viewer) see the castle for the first time. Seeing that on the big screen after reading the books will always stick with me.
