Amazon is running a promotion on certain themes at the moment: "For a limited time and while supplies last, buy one, get one 40% off on select toys. Discount will be applied at Checkout. Discounts only apply to items sold by Amazon.com and not by a third-party seller. Also, for an even greater value, take advantage of FREE Shipping (restrictions apply) and Prime (restrictions apply)."

View the full list of items that are included in the offer. It looks to be Star Wars, LotR/Hobbit and Castle.

Thanks Aegis2000 for the news.

By in United Kingdom,

did my first order thru amazon.com, im based in Uk, and with discount and even with shipping and import duties im still saving about £30 pounds on two decent LOTR sets. Only works out if you are buying a a reasonjably priced set , circa $45 to $55 minimum, to take advantage of the 40% discount

@Tick1970 what sets did you buy? I can't see how with everything factored into the cost how you managed to beat the price of the LoTR sets? They've been half price in most stores. I looked at the Millennium falcon and that could be a good saving (£90 each if you buy two of them).

When I click on the link provided, all that comes up is Nerf products. Am I doing something wrong?

^same here: Nerf only. I tried searching the mentioned LEGO products but did not see the promotion listed on their product pages either.

@msanders I bought the AT-TE and LotR Battle at the Black Gates.

Will all things added in the total was £84

Best price on the comparison on brickset is £63 for the AT TE and £47 for the Black Gate, so just about £30 savings.

I'd bet this was a price match to Target's (USA) deal's. In the printed Sunday circular (ad) for May 25th they had a Buy one Creator or Star Wars set get the second @ 40% off sale. Online it appeared to include additional themes, The one theme I specifically noted as being included online was Castle, it was also 'Sold out Online' by the time I heard it was included.
I suspect both that Amazon pulled the online price match once they confirmed that Target was out online AND the Nerf that Target also was running the same deal on is NOT sold out on Target's website. Hence the reason why all you find mentioned is the Nerf.

By in United States,

Just snagged the Lake-Town Chase and Dragon Mountain sets for a total of $64. The Lake-town set wasn't mentioned on any of the sites that had full lists.
