This is a review of 21273 The Ghast Balloon Village Attack set for the Minecraft movie. The set comes with six mini-figures and a larger Iron Golem figure. There are some small buildings and a fountain for the village, with the main item being a LEGO Ghast.

An amazing set with interesting play features and cool figures.
- Ghast shoots fireballs
- Excellent minifigures
The set was provided for review by LEGO. All opinions expressed are those of the author.
The Ghast is huge and comes with a cool feature of shooting a mini fireball like in the game (it comes with a spare fireball).
Along with shooting mini fireballs with an amazing range, the Ghast has a small platform underneath which is held by chains. It looks really good and just like in the movie.
On the platform, two Piglins may stand so when the Ghast comes down to attack the village, the Piglins can jump out and attack. The Piglins look very impressive with angry faces and come with a gold sword and a gold axe.
The other minifigures are a standard villager and the movie characters, Steve, Natalie, and Dawn. The villager has a slightly different colour and pattern than that in earlier Minecraft LEGO sets but otherwise looks good.
Steve, the main character, has a double-sided head with an amazing facial expression and an amazing colour hair which really matches to the hair of the actor who plays him in the movie. He has good detail and comes with his trusty Diamond sword.
Natalie and Dawn also have double-sided heads and look like their movie characters. They come with an axe and a shovel.
Moving on to the Iron Golem, this is a moving figure but is much bigger than a regular minifigure. It has bright red eyes to make it look really intimidating. It has strong arms and bulky legs. The Golem has been given feet and hands, which is not a feature in the real game but might be accurate for the movie.
The buildings are quite small and simple but the chicken store looks great with a giant chicken which stands on top of the building. An interesting feature for the chicken store is, if you pull on the underside of the chicken’s beak, a chicken egg pops out from underneath the giant chicken. The fountain in the middle of the set also has a part, that if you push down, launches the fountain water piece out.
The buildings were very easy to make. The Ghast was quite simple on the inside but I did have to double-check that I was getting the pieces in the right place to make the white and grey pattern on the outside of the Ghast. It was quite fiddly, but I had a lot of fun making the set.
This is an amazing set with interesting play features and cool figures. This is the first LEGO Ghast that I have seen and it looks fantastic. So I give this set a big thumbs up!

I give the review a big thums up! Nice work.
I love a review made by the target audience, that's a fantastic way to do it!
This set should have been 2 separate sets. The Ghast baloon would be perfect 30$ sets with some Piglins and Dawn, while the Village should have bigger chicken shop and 2 more villagers at this price. The fact we havent got transparent blue sword is also such a miss...
I love how they give you the balloon 2 piglins and the brick built golem

The iron golem chest print could be useful for castle MOCs.
