The Black Pearl available now
Posted by TheBrickPal,
LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean has finally returned with 10365 Captain Jack Sparrow's Pirate Ship, now available for Insiders members on LEGO.com.
The set costs £299.99 / $379.99 / €349.99 - with 2,862 pieces and eight minifigures - and depicts, well, Captain Jack Sparrow's pirate ship… or the Black Pearl, if you want to be precise!
If you purchase the set by September 18th, you'll receive 5009609 Captain Jack Sparrow's Compass as a gift-with-purchase. In addition, you'll automatically qualify for 40769 SEGA Genesis Controller, as well.

Very excited for this one!
"Oh, the Dauntless is the power in these waters, true enough. But there's no ship as can match the Interceptor for speed."
"I've heard of one, supposed to be very fast, nigh uncatchable: Captain Jack Sparrow's Pirate Ship."
"Coming Soon on September 15, 2025"

There is no version of me that will not be buying this, but not at full price. I’ll be patient…

Same for me; maybe it's time zones that have already made it to September 12th. Further down on the page it also says "LEGO® Insider Early Access on this set – 9/12-9/14".
I didn't want to be a day 1 purchaser of this, however getting 2 GWP sets was what tipped me over the line to avoid paying more than the RRP down the line getting the ship and buying the Compass on the aftermarket, The controller GWP too was just a nice extra.
It will be available at midnight in North America!

Ever heard of his mutinous first mate? They call him Current Captain of Jack Sparrow's Pirate Ship.
Will certainly get this at some point, but there are already 8 October releases I want more! (and I got 40769 yesterday)
With 2 GWPs, I couldn’t resist. Plus will probably end up on backorder for 3 months like everything else anyway.
Just noticed the Compass GWP is now out of stock here at least.

And everyone knows the legend: you can't find the ship you just bought without the compass you may or may not have gotten.
Looks like USA website backed up again and can't find the webpage for the product

NVM. Webpage and site up and running now for anyone interested.
If someone has the knowledge and patience to make statistics on this theme: are Disney themed sets really more expensive overall? Thank you!
Will we be seeing a Brickset review of this set?

So is the Pea... Captain Jack Sparrow's Pirate Ship..
Perhaps they've exhausted the Insiders early allocation in a day and maybe make more available on the 15th.
Not surprised though that it went quickly.
Kind of set I would buy to venture out of Lego Star Wars if it wasn't so expensive, regardless of value. Think it's a really cool ship.
Breach by Twenty one pilots was also released today.
The UK price being relatively good compared to other regions and two nice GWP was too good to turn down.
I feel like this is a recurring theme, but - I like this, I just don't like it $[retail price] much.

I wasn't lying... we're a UK-based site, so the article went up at midnight in the UK. :-)
Seems like 40769 Sega controller is no longer available in the UK. Have they sold out?

For sure, you have to be lost to find a GWP that can't be found, elseways everyone would know how to get it…

Yes, I imagine so. It is going to be popular on the secondary market and I expect resellers have placed many orders today.
The fake controller is useless without a fake system and fake tv.

I've got both, but the system isn't a Genesis, it's an NES, and it already has a controller. I've got another fake system, but it's an Atari, and also has a controller. So I don't feel any need for this.

I've got the "Sonic standing on a Genesis" preorder bonus from Sonic Mania, so I guess I just need to repurpose the TV from 71374.
Hopefully a review is coming up soon? Thanks in advance, Brickset staff.
I just downloaded and went through the instructions: I was not supposed to get this - or at least not that soon considering my latest Lego expenses but I immediately put an order for it. I will get the two GWPs (including the useless fake controller) and some Lego money. Besides, if Lego decides to make the other ships of the series, you will want to have them all, right? This will be my third pirate ship with 21322 and 31109 - not bad for a 'Spacemafia' guy!

You missed out on another free GWP the record player from entering a code off Jay’s Bricks
