Lol we saw the first episode of Wednesday Season 2 today, this Minidoll kinda reminds me of Eugene when he’s beekeeping in the last season.

Coincidentally similar to yesterday's RMotD.

Yeah it does.

They so need to make Minifigures instead of minidolls for the Wednesday sets.

Not an actual minifig? Or did you mean the RMotD from two days ago? Yesterday's didn't post, remember?

The one from two days ago. I forgot one wasn't posted yesterday, and I just looked at the sidebar.

Lore time! Grab your friends!

Orla is paisley’s grandmother, she and her husband are beekeepers.

That’s literally all the lore on this character, other than the fact that she strangely resembles my grandmother!

Took me a second to get that reference. If I hadn't rewatched the series when Agatha All Along came out, I probably wouldn't have gotten it at all.

We never get both simultaneously except for in 18+ sets (like Wicked), so I guess we should hope for a UCS Nevermore.

Good one. Even though this figure doesn't wear a yellow suit, the similarity is uncanny. Just needs a Walkman.

Two safety suit wearing figs either side of a missing entry? Man, something real bad happened to yesterday’s RMotD didn’t it? Should we be in quarantine right now?

Not us, but our minifigs should be!

Makes me think of that hokey '70s sci-fi movie about killer bees....

I need to get around to watching that movie. (I only get the reference because I read the novelization years ago.) I bought the trilogy on DVD a while back, I don't know what's taking me so long.

I still don’t get why Doc Brown had a white radiation suit, but gave Marty a yellow one. Was it just so we viewers could more easily tell them apart?

I guess so. Funny, until you mentioned it I never really thought about it.

I mean, it is possible. Eastman & Laird gave the Turtles red masks in the original comics, but as soon as they got licensed for an animated series they got the blue/purple/red/orange color scheme that everyone assumes they started with. Likewise, when Ghostbusters came out, they all wore identical outfits, but again with the animated series that followed, they wore four different color jumpsuits, and Egon was a bottle blond so they would even have four different hair colors. Now, in both of these cases, it was more about merchandising, as making the characters visibly different was a way to ensure parents _knew_ they hadn’t bought the complete set, and that there was no way they could convince their kids that they had. BttF didn’t really have any merchandising to speak of, when it first came out. That mostly came after the trilogy had wrapped. But the only two reasons I can think of for why Doc Brown and Marty would have different color radiation suits is because that’s all the costume department could acquire, or because they wanted to make sure we could tell the two apart even when they had the hoods on.
