I know it's been more than two decades since Sega was the sworn enemy of Nintendo, but it still feels a little weird to buy Mario and get Sonic as a bonus.
...is Balkiry actually somehow a new release? It started popping up on Bricklink in January.

Although in fairness, there I suppose it feels like Mario is the bonus-character. I'm sorry, but overweight middle-aged plumbing-technicians don't routinely fare all that well at Olympic events, even IF their opponents are notorious speed-addicts who live on a steady diet of crushed rings and chili-dogs.

Seems like a simple mistake, as the Braille set is 40722 while the ghost is 40772. Has anyone here managed to actually get the Braille set, or has all orders been changed to the ghost?

It sounds like you’ve hit on the answer, really. I’m not too sore about the mix up; somehow I think I’ll survive without a German braille set.
Neither of these have any incentive value for me.
