She should be in Texas for the U.S Grand Prix, not here!

I can't see this hair piece as anything other than Mickey Mouse ears.

Anyone else get the vibe that the mechanics from this set are actually a family unit, with Pom-poms here as the ‘daughter’? Or am I just too used to seeing that in other City/Town sets?

Is the pit crew distinctly different from the mechanics who work on the car during downtime? And have they ever made a pit crew that actually _looked_ like a pit crew, with all the fire-retardant onesies and full-face helmets?

By in Netherlands,

I miss the graphic design of yesteryear that was actually detailed, not this simple lines and shapes stuff. It's why I wasn't a fan of when they 'remade' a lot of classic prints to be more 'streamlined' back in 2021 (I think it was that year?).

8375 Ferrari pit crew and 8654 Ferrari Truck and 8672 Ferrari finish line and 8144 Ferrari Team and many more of that Ferrari subtheme of Racers did it way back when. Maybe one or two early Speed Champions sets. Those blend too much together for me to recall any details. It's been going for a long 10 years already too, like so many licensed themes are these days.

With the longer race calendar (24 races) the teams are rotating some roles, so she may be off for this race.

I hadn't thought of that before, but I can totally see it now.

Okay, the Pit Crew makes perfect sense. Six pit crew working on the car with one driver in the seat. The truck, I see five people working on an empty car, and one of those minifigs is supposed to be the driver. And the truck driver is pushing some sort of tool chest towards the car, which I'm sure they would not be doing during the race. Finish Line also makes sense, with three pit crew working on the car, and everyone with exposed faces is off doing other stuff. Then there's the Team set. I'm not even sure what's going on there. It looks like a garage that's built right next to pit row, which I wouldn't think is allowed. And it looks like the engineers are acting as additional pit crew, which definitely wouldn't happen without all of the protective gear.
